Plot

Dok Go Ma Te (Jang Geun-Suk) is the prettiest man in the world - and he knows it, too! Using his good looks, he seduces wealthy women in order to use their money and live a luxurious life. Kim Bo Tong (IU) has always been in love with Ma Te since first meeting him on the bus and a twist of fate brings the two together as Ma Te's mother is Bo Tong's mother's good friend. However, Ma Te, who is well aware of Bo Tong's infatuation with him, doesn't care for her or her crush and doesn't have or want anything to do with her.

Ten years pass and Bo Tong is still infatuated as ever with Ma Te, day dreaming about him every day and even going as far as saving up money for him to buy a car. Ma Te is living the life, using his girlfriend, Jackie's, feelings for him and her money to secure himself a sports car and even a home in Seoul. Suddenly, tragedy strikes as his mother passes away due to cancer that no one knew about. His life is thrown for a loop and a beautiful, mysterious woman from his past, Hong Yu Ra (Han Chae-Young), reappears in his life, telling him that she has a passcode for Ma Te to use in order to see the father that was never in his life.

Ma Te and Yu Ra talk and he finds out that she's the former wife of MG Group's heir, Park Moon Soo, and that he is the illegitimate son of MG Group's chairman, Park Ki-Suk. Yu Ra convinces Ma Te that he deserves to be given his rightful spot back and that he'll need to learn different lessons from ten different women in order to stand a chance of gaining his place in MG Group.

Ma Te enlists an enthusiastic Bo Tong to help him finish his tasks and along the way, Bo Tong runs into Choi David (Lee Jang-Woo), someone who can help Ma Te as well. Things get interesting as David and Ma Te bump heads and things escalate when romance is involved. Throughout it all, Bo Tong is dead set on helping Ma Te make his dream of meeting and being accepted by his father a reality and doing whatever she can to make sure that he's happy.

Overall

While I found the begining of this drama to be a bit shaky and complicated, as I progressed, I found it to be a pleasure to watch. The acting was spot on, the actors and actresses involved giving great performances that pulled on all of my heartstrings, and the story the drama told was captivating as well. The plot continuously grew deeper and kept my interest while the heated love triangle kept me on the edge of my seat. Watching Dok Go Ma Te transform from a spoiled flower boy into a man was enjoyable and seeing how the relationships grew was heartwarming. I highly recommend this drama to anyone and everyone to watch and enjoy!
