How I Met Your Mother.

How I Met Your Mother. When writing this column, I always try to look for sitcoms. Throughout the years, sitcoms have just faded. TV is overtaken by drama, sex, soap operas, and movies, now. So, I think it’s extra important when you find a good sitcom that won’t be canceled after three episodes.

Recently having entered its third season, I think How I Met Your Mother is definitely a show worth writing about. With Josh Radnor as Ted, the man looking for love, Neil Patrick Harris as Barney, the stylish manwhore who can get a girl any night, and Jason Segal as Marshall, the married law school graduate, the trio make for an awesome 30 minutes. Not to mention Alyson Hannigon as Marshall’s ditzy – but sweet – wife, and Cobie Smulders as the news anchor, originally from Canada, who’s skeptic, but loving, and always friendly.

The show centers around Ted telling the story of how he met his children’s mother, in the future. Each show always leads us a step closer to the mother, and has you guessing every step of the way. With stories of, how Marshall and Lilly (Alyson Hannigon) getting married, Ted and Barney getting wasted on St. Patrick’s Day, and Ted getting his tattoo removed, they have you thinking every girl he meets might just be the kids mother.

I strongly suggest that if you’re looking for a laugh, and a good Monday night sitcom, you watch How I Met Your Mother, because there isn’t much left to look forward too, in the world of sitcoms. You can find it Monday Nights on CBS at 8:30 PM (EST.)
