American Idol may have ended two weeks ago, but the two top finalists haven't been forgotten. David Cook, the winner of American Idol, has been sign to BMG Song Records (also to be known as Simon Cowell's record label) and is planning to release his debut album very soon. Though his single (the winning song of American Idol) is blowing other songs off the charts as it continues to be the #1 song on Itunes. Many have high hopes for the American Idol winner, but what about the runner up of this match?

David Archuleta, a high school junior prodigy who lives in Murray Utah, may have been the runner up, but this boy is probably going to be the next World Idol. A few days ago, David Archuleta signed with Jives Record, a pop label who has previously produced albums for Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and more; revealing the release date to his album, THIS SUMMER. The young contestant is already up and working on his album, and don't forget about the American Idol tour. While David works on with his new busy schedule, fans all over the world support him, and are anxious to hear from him soon.

David Archuleta's personality and talented vocals have truly captured the heart of fans, and will lead his career to higher place, maybe even higher than Cook's? All we know is, he's got one busy future up ahead, and fans will be rooting for him either way.
