Gabriella was named after Zach's dead friend Gabriel. She has black hair and hazel eyes. Gabby lives with the Zach, the man who rescued her from death by making her a vampire when she was just a baby. He tells her how awful her parents were to leave her at the mercy of the wilderness. Gabby has no desire to ever meet them, but she doesn't find someone she would like to get to know: Aiden. He just makes her seem like she's normal for once. When she finds out he's a werewolf, she just doesn't understand why she doesn't find him repulsive. She's no normal vampire, she knows, but then just what is she?

Aiden has black hair and light brown eyes. He has double snake bites and is a werewolf. As a baby, he was hideous and not any prettier on the inside, but as a teenager he's made up for that. He meets Gabby when he's working at his job. They run into each other and his breath is taken away from the start. She looked so perfect and his heart had never beaten so fast, and that's saying something considering his congenital heart disease! He knew they were meant to be and he fell in love with her from the start. He knows she is strange, but he wants to help her find out what she truly is, no matter what it takes.
