  • Conán Connolly

    Conán Connolly

    Gender:
    Male
    Age:
    20
    Orientation:
    Straight

Conán was bored and raised in Dublin and he has brown hair and dark brown eyes. He is traumatised by his severely abusive childhood and it is because of this past that he becomes a serial killer in the first place. Conán ran away from home when he was sixteen years of age and lived rough for several years. He committed his first crime when he was seventeen. Shortly afterwards, he acquired his flat, though he is never keen to reveal what he actually had to do to get the money, leaving speculation that he was involved in organised crime or something similar. However, his name remained unknown to the police until long after the ***s start. Conán is very much a loner and feels awkward in social situations, as he doesn’t trust people. The only person he comes to trust is Naoise. He lives by himself and is a severe alcoholic with suicidal tendencies. He also suffers from flashbacks concerning his childhood. However, like most serial killers, he has a certain charm about him, which can draw people in and make them feel comfortable. He is a funny guy, though his sense of humour is dark and somewhat morbid. He finds it hard to trust and nearly impossible to love anyone, though he begins to get over this with Naoise. He’s also very cheeky and he’s not afraid to tell someone exactly how it is. Conán is very frank and doesn’t try to butter up his words. Even after knowing him a short time, you learn that if you don’t want to hear and honest answer to the question, Conán is not the person to ask.

  • Naoise McCullough

    Naoise McCullough

    Gender:
    Female
    Age:
    18
    Orientation:
    Straight

Naoise was born and raised in Dublin and is a first-year psychology student in Dublin’s Trinity College. She has red hair and green eyes. Naoise is generally a very warm, trusting, and loving character, completely the opposite of Conán. However, her trusting nature often gets her hurt or into troublesome situations. Naoise isn’t a weak young woman, though, and instead of hurting her deeply, these situations tend to bring out her fiery temper. Naoise is famed for her temper – once she gets going, she’ll have everyone shut up. She is also very intelligent when it comes to all things psychology and has a flair for the criminal side of the subject. Like Conán, she also enjoys a drink, though her drinking habits are certainly not as extreme. She comes from a large family of four sisters and three brothers, but despite their size the family is close. She is also an auntie. Naoise has a very black-and-white perspective when it comes to meeting people – she either loves them or hates them, and if someone betrays her, she’ll generally have nothing more to do with them. She is very independent and tough-spirited, but there’s also still a child in there, because of the fact she is still so young, and sometimes she likes to just head home and stay with her family for a while.

He is described as having a “grandfatherly” appearance, in that his middle-aged looks and calm demeanour remind his colleagues more of an elderly grandfather than a detective. However, he has a reputation among his colleagues that, when he puts his mind to something, nothing gets past him. He is an honest ad hardworking man, though one of his greatest flaws is his obsessive personality – he finds it hard to leave his work at work. He has been married over twenty years and has three grown-up children.

  • Mary O'Connell

    Mary O'Connell

    Gender:
    Female
    Age:
    18
    Orientation:
    Straight

Mary is Naoise's on-off best friend. The two of them have known each other since high school, but frequently come to blows because of their similar hot-headed personality. However, they always manage to make it up, although Mary can be very stubborn. She is portrayed in a more negative light as Conán takes an instant dislike to her because she looks so much like a younger version of his abusive mother. Mary has many flaws, such as her arrogance and sarcasm, but she is also very kind and funny when people get to know her better. She is in Naoise’s psychology lectures at university and is also her room-mate in the dorms.
