Vanessa Laroy was born in Bordeaux, France on October 21, 1911. Her flawless blonde hair hangs in beautifully sculpted coils, framing her amazingly pale face with perfection. Vanessa lived her life as a human for 17 years before she was turned into a vampire by Carlisle on April 3, 1928. Before her tragic 'death' (when she was only 7), Vanessa lived with her mother, Adrienne, and her brother, Benjamin. Never knowing her father, for he had taken it upon himself to flee the scene once ingratiating poor Adrienne. Because her mother was too sick to go out and Vanessa was too young to help the family, Benjamin was force to make the force to take on the responsibilities of a father at only 11. Vanessa tried her best to help out as much as she possibly could by cleaning the house and tending to her mother whenever needed, but it still never seemed to be enough to cheer the gloom that swept across their family day in and day out. Not too long after their mother's death was Benjamin forced to join the French army in World War I, leaving Vanessa all alone on the streets of France. Of course Vanessa wouldn't have a home to go to, she was only 16 and no one wanted a lowly street rat such as herself to dwell within their household. Only a year had passed before she was mugged and ***ed. Now Vanessa lives in a large house in Forks, Washington with the loving and caring Cullen Family who took her under their wing when she was but a 'new born'.
