    Amanda Curtis

    Gender:
    Female
    Age:
    19
    Orientation:
    Straight

Nicknames: She hates her first name and goes simply by “Mandy”. Jessy, her best friend, is the only one allowed to call her “Manda” (a rule Jessy herself created). Random versions such as “Manda Panda” and “Mandy Candy” come into play whenever I’m feeling playful. Another common one is "Mandena". Jessy and Joby bestowed her with "Athos" of the Three Musketeers. Birthday: April 24th Appearance: She's average height and slightly average looking (I'm hoping she never reads this so she doesn't kill me). She has extremely long hair that hangs past her waist. I can't describe color, as it is continually changing (I think its going to be blue sometime soon). She is a bit overweight, particularily around the hips and thighs (again, hoping she NEVER reads...). Her eyes are bright, crystal clear blue... slightly gray in color, really. Her skin is flawlessly pale. Like, vampric pale, and usually ice cold. Her hands end in outrageously long nails (one is over an inch long, I think). Her hair is usually worn up, looped and clipped away from her neck. Her clothes are simple: black palazzos, a band shirt, and a hoodie. Her shirt collection is extensive, rivaled only by her collection of hoodies. She’s simple in appearance, mostly because she doesn’t care. She wears what she likes, what she’s comfortable in, and *** everyone else. ~-~-~ Likes: » Music, concerts, and the music scene in general » Freaking people out with random facts » Cute, fluffy animals. Especially cats » Soft smells, like vanilla and night-blooming Jasmine » History, especially that of foreign lands. Favors Egypt » Technology, huge fan of technology » Learning new and interesting things » The supernatural and paranormal » Night time, Halloween, and Friday the 13th » Complaining and annoying those she really cares about, just for fun Dislikes: » The sun and extreme weather » Narrow-minded people » Squirrels » Waking up early and being awoken in general » Having a craving you can’t identify » Being forced or pressured into things » Preppy, stuck-up, and fake people Quirks & Habits: » A tendency to twirl her hair » Sticking her tongue out when she concentrates » Procrastinating » Triple-checking everything » Sucking on her fingers when reading Fears: » Planes » Heights » Public speaking » Bugs » Drowning 5+ Words: » Laidback, weird, crazy, shy, loving Personality: » Laidback, shy, standoffish, a wallflower. She’s much more likely to be hanging by the punchbowl than out on the dance floor, if you get the analogy. It takes a lot to get her to open up; by nature she is a very closed off person. » Insecure and self-conscious. She’s quick to blush and the first to deny any compliments made to her appearance. She scoffs at the expression “inner beauty”. » Opinionated, brutally honest, and stubborn as hell. Despite her bashfulness, she’s not afraid to state her mind. She is typically stuck in her ways and has no problem calling someone a ***ing moron for opposing her beliefs. » Straightedge. She doesn’t believe in drinking, smoking, or doing drugs. Sex is something that should have meaning and there’re few things worse than being a slut. She isn’t as strict in her Edge as some people, but nothing short of the need to survive would make her break her Edge. ~-~-~ Birthplace: Iowa Relationships: » Jessy is her best friend, her surrogate sister, and her brain twin. They’re just shy of being joined at the hip. The pair balances one another well. They have tons in common, but just enough differences to keep them being two separate entities. » Joby finishes off Jessy and Mandy's own version of the Three Musketeers. ~-~-~ History: » She’s an only child. Her mother, Wanda, was a housewife and devoted mother and she shares a very close relationship with her mother. Her father, who is fifteen years older than her mother, is someone she’s very disconnected with. She doesn’t get along with him at all and is, quite honestly, extremely annoyed by him. His old fashioned ways never appealed to her. She has a half-brother, the son of her father, but they’re virtual strangers to one another. Her parents never seemed to be particularly close or loving, but it wasn’t something she ever really thought about (because, honestly, what kid would). » Her childhood was quiet. She had very little interaction with any children until she started school. Instead, she was usually around adults. She grew up watching late night talk shows and typically paid attention when adults spoke. Her life was very lonely. She had few friends and none of them really seemed to “get her”. » In her junior year of high school, she met Jessy. At first, the younger girl was annoying and irked her nerves, though all it took was a conversation about fanfic and Orlando Bloom for them to bond. They’d been virtually inseparable ever since.
