Born and raised in London until she was 18 years old, her parents realized she had great musical potential and paid for a plane ticket to the United States. A year later, she was in a band with some of her closest American friends called Charlotte Melancholic. She plays bass for her band, but also dabbles with an acoustic guitar. She likes to think she can be a lyricist. She is incredibly shy at first, but warms up to people easily, and tends to avoid being the center of attention. She sings when she's alone and gets embarrassed when she's caught. She does not trust easily and rarely believes in giving second chances. She has ivory skin and naturally dark brown hair with emerald eyes. She's adorn with three piercings in each of her ears and a tattoo of three stars behind her right ear, representing her father, mother, and her older brother, all of whom still live in London. Her older brother's name is Shawn and he is 22 years old and very protective of Charlotte.

Brandon Everly was born in New York City on December 29th, 1988. Incredibly warm but incredibly stubborn, he was almost kicked out of school because of his hard headedness toward his teachers despite how great of a student he was. His parents split up when he was five and he lived with his mother in New York City while his dad spent most of his time in bars, a trait that was passed to Brandon regardless of his best efforts not to be anything like his father. He drinks heavily, but usually knows when to quit. He was a smoker for three years while he was in high school, but promised to quit when his mother got sick and there was a chance that it was lung cancer. She was cancer free, but he kept his promise and is a non-smoker to this day. Charlotte Melancholic (then called A Must Be Massacre) was started by Brandon and Oliver when they realized they shared a passion for music. Nathan joined just after the three boys were out of high school and just before they met Charlotte. The parental figure of the band, he feels it's his job to keep his friends calm, collected, and as happy as possible as constantly as posible.

Born on Friday, July 13th 1988, the date should've been an omen for this child. Born into a very upper class and rather uppity family, Oliver always felt a little out of place. His parents enjoyed things like golf and going to the theatre to see broadway plays. Oliver enjoyed things like loud music, singing, writing, and breaking rules. This is how Oliver and Brandon met: high school detention. Finally telling his parents of his plans of being a musician, they did not approve and demanded he take charge of his life instead of chasing some ridiculous fantasty. The evening after telling them, he packed everything he held dear and ran away from home, buying an apartment in lower Manhattan and living there for the remainder of his high school days. Until the band got up and running, Oliver spent his days working at a company that made cook books, suffering through papercuts and bleeding fingernails. When he first met Charlotte Connery, he had made it his mission to get with her. He thought she was everything he had ever wanted in a girl. However, after just one kiss before a show in a small club, they knew it would never work and promised to be life long friends. Brandon and Nathan know nothing of this encounter and Oliver swears that they never will. Oliver is incredibly protective of each member of his band and has a violent-outburst tendency when things get sticky.

The eldest member of the band, Nathan Hays was born January 6th, 1988 in Washington D.C. Having graduated high school a year early, he left D.C. to chase his dreams of being in the music industry, ending up in New York City after accidently missing his flight to Las Angelas. He stumbled across Brandon and Oliver playing a show together in a small club the night he arrived in NYC and after the set, asked them if they needed a guitarist. He was welcomed with open arms. His past was an easy and happy one. His parents were happily married and loved Nathan with all their hearts. He graduated high school in the top 10% of his class despite his young age and was being asked to attend colleges nationwide. But he had had a passion for music since he was four when he got his first guitar and knew he wouldn't be happy doing anything else in his life. While trying to be responsible because he's the oldest (despite the fact that it's only by a few months), Nathan finds it difficult when he's with his fun-loving friends. His conscience is demanding but he's happy when his friends are smiling and that's all he really cares about.
