Emilie Fae Dawson is a fifteen year old girl who is abused by her father, Eric, who is an alcoholic. Her relationship with her mother, Lillian is good, but is strained because of her father and her inability to understand why her mother is still with him. Her relationship with her father/mother is similar to that of Jesus of Suburbia, a character to Green Day's album, American Idiot. Her father supplies the rage, while her mother trys to give her the love. Although, the person who showers her with the most love is Billie Joe and his family of whom she has been very close to since day one. Emilie's mother, Lillian, and Billie Joe's mother, Ollie, has been best friends since kindergarden and around the same time got pregnant with Billie Joe and Emilie at the same age of forty. Since then their mother's relationship is still fairly well, but not as strong as it once was, due to Lillian refusing to leave Eric. Billie Joe's father, Andy, was protrayed as more of a father figure to Emilie than her own father, but when he died of cancer when Emilie and Billie were just ten years old, it effected them both greatly. Emilie and Billie have feelings for each other, but won't tell each other. Emilie has really long, wavy chestnut brown hair. She has blue-green eyes and has a nose piercing. She wears plain and ordinary clothes, often wearing band t-shirts, jeans, and converse shoes, and she rarely wears makeup. She prefers natural beauty.
