Skylar was orphaned at age 15 when her parents died in a house fire. She moved from foster home to foster home until she turned 18, when she decided that she wanted to go to college in California. But after she had a vision about her dorm room roommate dying, and then seeing it come true, she decides to move again, as far away from her past as she can get. By chance, she ends up in Bon Temps, Louisiana. Personality: Due to her past and her special ability, she tries to be non confrontational wherever she goes. But when anyone gets close enough to get to know her, they will find that she is spunky, smart, and not afraid to voice her opinion.
