  The quiet, in-the-shadows-in-the-back type person. He only talks when spoken to, and rarely more than a sentence or two at a time. He's been shown to have one of the highest IQs in al of SE, next to Yas and Pyre. He usually keeps all of his thought and feelings to himself, and the only people that have gained his trust are Suki and Tristan. (he's also seen to like bands such as BFMV and Flyleaf) He had a bad past, and didn't know any of his family except for his mother and alcohol/drug addicted father, who beat him everyday while his mother was too afraid to help. He's been known to have a natural inquisitiveness, and is always trying to help his friends in exchange for his own happiness, unknown to them. He's a bit short for his age, but has several facial features that make people assume him to be much older. He's always got a certain scarf wrapped around his neck that seems to be from an outsider. He has dark-colored hair that slightly hangs in his face, a pale complexion, and light lavender eyes.   The female leader of Maru, a male-dominated assassination group. Not much is known about her, other than that she is a strict ruler who won't hesitate to *** anyone in cold blood.

  Yas's little sister at 6 years old, and nicknamed him Yazzy. She's considered annoying, but is a master at hand-to-hand. She's commonly seem in her training uniform, with her hair tied up. Ira has also known to have an incredible mental process for someone her age, being able to quickly use SE's system of numbers (9x+3x) to name numbers in public. She is about 3'9, and weighs about 60 Ibs. Overall, she's tall for her age, but weighs almost nothing. She has red hair and blue eyes. A hand-to-hand specialist, she is able to fight several people at once. Gray is still able to bat her off seemingly effortlessly, though. She taught Suki how to hit pressure points.

  Formerly from Maru, he was abused and used as a slave more than a human being, leading him to be at an emotional distance. Tristan's friendliness seemed to relieve him, and he has opened up quickly. Is currently Gray's second apprentice, and also considered his clone. He, along with Suki and a few others in SE, are known to have longer and sharper canines and incisors than most people. In addition to being abused in Maru, he also has SCID, from which he contracted (untreated) Tuberculosis. Rue is easily susceptible to illness, and frequently gets sick. Light colored hair, and a pale complexion, with red-almost-brown eyes. He's also got a scar on his arm from a fight with Eon, his former teacher. He's been called Gray's clone. Has a calligraphic N tattooed on his back, leading Zephyr to recognize him as his biological brother. Since he has also described Ira as looking 'like my Cera', and it is implied that Zephyr has a younger sister, possibly making 'Cera' Rue and Zephyr's little sister. He hasn't been featured fighting seriously, but is assumed to be a proficient assassin, having lived with Maru for most of his life. Gray has mentioned that he likes to attack blind spots.

  Pyre is hapy and bubbly, and always pushing things. He has been shown to poke fun at people like Gray, and Suki often beats him down for it. He's one of the most intelligent people in SE, with Yas and Gray. Pyre also has a business-like side, and is very confidential of his 'clients'' information. He's also the one to talk to about issues in private with others, and is easily able to have empathy for others. He's well-versed in psychology and chemistry. Pyre is able to single out a problem in a jumble of words, and easily solve it. His one weakness seems to be therapy, which he has stated that he 'sucks at'. Looks: He's bandaged all over from his fights and experiments. So far, he's only blown off one arm, but everyone knows its only a matter of time before he loses another limb. He's created an artficial arm rigged with wires that allows him to use both hands. As his name suggests, he's a complete pyromaniac. In all of his stores, he has enough explosives to blow up New York. He's always conducting his experiments behind the base; these experiments caused SE to lose their first base. He's expected to bring down the current one soon.

  especially brazen, he's about twice Gray's height. In description, he's built like a football player, and is easily able to manuver small spaces. He was also partners with gray for a period of time, before he left on a week long mission.

  The leader of SE, and 17. He's been known to love fizzy drinks, which, for some reason, seem to have an effect similar to alchohol on him. Considered brazen and immature, he's actually a master tactician. He's very different from the rest of the clan leaders, and his personality and leadership is in direct to every other leaders'. He's been known to very patient with younger kids, having Ira as a sister. Most people don't know how he lives with it, but he says, 'years and years of practice.'. Other than that, others describe him as a hothead with a short temper.

  Gray's apprentice. He just recently joined SE, and already is building a reputation. He's a friendly type who will sacrifice his own self-comfort to make someone else happy. Is nearly always seen with Rue, and the two have a brother-brother relationship. He looks much younger than he really is, and is implied to have blonde hair and blue eyes. he hasn't been allowed by Gray to fight yet. Has been deemed to have a hand-to-hand style of adaptation to the opponent's style. While practicing at Suki's shooting range, he missed the target by a meter.

  Brazen, arrogant, and an overall pighead jerk. Usually goes around looking for a fight, and gets bored easily. Gray's main rival, and considered number one fighter in SE. Gray is still able to match his ability, though. He's ben shown to have a nicer side, which, if it is ever revealed, he tries to turn himself into the law, knowing full-well everything he's been caught doing could land him with triple life sentence. Gray has managed to stop him every time. Has been shown to have history with Rue, as the latter is his biological brother, but they haven't seen each other in about ten years. He is cold to him, not really caring what happens to Rue. Has been implied to have had another younger sister. Is about 5'7, and is always carrying a weapon. His weapon is any kind of blade. His main weapon is a katana which he is always carrying, except outside of the red-light district and on missions.

  She's a tomboy with a short temper, which would probably explain her weapon of choice. She has a love for teriyaki, and looks just like your everyday fourteen-year-old skater. She's been known to carry weapons on her persons at all times. Because of her personality, she's not in any certain groups in SE. She's still grouped in the same unnamed stereotype as Gray and Tristan. Has been known to sleep with a gun in her hand. Suki's past has been blurred to her, except for vague memories of her parents. They were nice, but she can't remember why she was forced to leave. Pyre has mentioned that forgetting memories can be attributed to extreme mental/physical harassment, and that therapy can probably unlock them, which he is not good at. Suki's nickname in SE is Miss Sharp Shoot. Her choice of weapons are all categorized as long-range, ranging from her HK PGS1 sniper rifle to a longbow. She also carries around a knife that is tied around her lower stomach, which was a present from a much younger, much nicer Zephyr. Once she has been disarmed of all of the numerous weapons on her person, she'll attack pressure points, something she learned from Ira.
