Delilah Swan is Bella's little sister. From the age of ten she's been living with her father, Charlie, in Forks - but then, at the age of fourteen, she moved away to live with her mother in Phoenix instead, a year before Bella decided to move to Forks. Two years later, after the tragic death of her best friend (Liam), she decides that it would be best for her to come back to Forks where she has her sister, her father and all of her old friends to help her get through her growing depression. She takes medication (under the strict orders of her doctor) against anxiety, depression and insomnia - but only two months into her treatment, she finds herself falling back into her old ways of crying every night and not being able to control the things she says and does. She ignores that this is the way the medication works, that one has to get worse before it gets better.

Nathan is one of Delilah's old friends from Forks. He is the soul of sweetness, wide smiles and random acts of kindness - never in her life has Delilah had a serious fight with him: it is purely impossible. They only have a lot of tiffs that lead nowhere, since Delilah knows how to wind him up. He is the best listener out there and would do anything to help out a friend in need.

Hadley looks the total opposite of Delilah - dyed hair, dramatic makeup, indecent clothing, tattoos and countless piercings. When the two of them are walking next to each other, there is no resemblance what so ever - it's first when Delilah finally opens her mouth that the connection is made and one understands how they even got along in the first place. They're both rude, sarcastic and seeming to be PMSing constantly. But Hadley is still Delilah's best girl friend on the entire planet, and no difference is big enough for them to be apart - only Delilah's moving to Phoenix put a distance between them that is very hard to close again...

He is, as you all know it, the father of Bella and Delilah Swan, ex-husband of Renée, Chief of Forks Police Department. His relationship with his daughters are very different: since he hasn't really been very close with Bella, things are awkward between the two of them, and he doesn't know how to handle the father role. On the other hand, him and Delilah are much closer - she chose to live with him, and immediately, that gave her a great plus in his book. But when she left him so she could live with her mother, he felt left behind - both his daughters and his wife had left him. When Delilah came back, Renée had explained the situation to him: Delilah had lost her best friend, and months of therapy and heavy doses of medication wasn't really working. He took it upon himself to help her as much as he could, but only a few weeks before her arrival, Bella's boyfriend Edward leaves her, and Bella falls into a depression as well. How he is going to handle two depressive daughters on his own is an entirely different story...

Christiane is Nathan's mother. Ex-supermodel, now a succesful lawyer, she met her husband (Pierre, a banker) in Paris. After getting pregnant, she stopped modelling and made use of her law degree to become a lawyer and convinced Pierre to move to California, where she'd always dreamt of living. Although she appears to be a bit superficial, Hollywood proved to be too much for her and they moved to live in Forks instead. Is petite, blonde, has brown eyes (same as Nathan's), is always styled after the latests magasines and although she likes her botox and makeup a lot, she is still very beautiful. Is very kindhearted personality-wise, has a strong character, is very romantic and loves to travel. She was one of the few people who supported Delilah to the fullest when she wanted to move to Phoenix to see a bit more of the world. Tries to give her son a good upbringing (though she spoils him a lot) and is very fond of the idea of him and Delilah ending up together.
