Then Maddy suddenly died at 17, from a complicated delivery of her first child, a baby Maddy hid from her parents. Margaret was ashamed. So in a futile attempt to make up for her death they created a home, Maddy's Home, for young pregnant teens like their daughter to tell them they aren't alone.

James Haven is a stricken man. He loved his daughter and when she was unfortunatly killed he went into a depression. He began drinking more, smoking thick cigars. He began to spend less time with his wife and more with his friends and soon he began his multiple affairs by using his charms and his money. James is a rash and brutal man who always gets what he wants. All the girls have obsessions for him but only one catches his attension.

Juliet Capri is an emotional young girl with many problems. Sometimes she is soft and sweet like a baby bird and other times she can be terribly mean because she hates the world so much for calling her an outcast. She is a tiny thing and she never grows except for her stomach. She never even saw herself as pretty much less beautiful. Juliet's only wish is to have someone to love.
