Daughter of Damien, an Incubus who was sentenced to death after mating with a Siren named Tala. Name was bestowed upon her due to her hypnotizing blue eyes. To stay alive, she must absorb the life out of others. Wears an amulet given to her by her mother; her mother had a witch, Gia, take her power and put it into the necklace before she was ***ed so Iris could not only harness her own powers, but have her mother's as well. Has two jobs—one is singing at The Blue Moon, a local bar, with a small band, and the other is at Tantra, an upper-class strip club. Rejected from the Underworld for being a hybrid, though the Devil has taken quite a liking to her; he's been hunting her, but is always incapable of finding her. Although she must kill people to live, she would rather live a normal life—which is why she works. Has one good friend, Anastasia, who is a high level witch. Being as sexually active and experienced as she is, Iris enjoys both sexes, though she easily admits to liking the man's anatomy better. Stands at 5'7" with slender, athletic figure. The Witch. A descendent of one of the women at the Salem Witch Trial's. Lives in New York City. Aware of her best friend's hybrid status; has been looking for a spell to bind Iris' need to drain people of their life forces and take their souls. Daughter of Nicolas, a man who abandoned her mother at a young age, and Agatha, a powerful witch who passed away a year ago of a "magic overdose"—consistently casted at least twenty spells a day, an unhealthy habit that ultimately led to her death. Anastasia, better known as Ana or AJ, refuses to get addicted and dependent on magic like her mother was. Has a daytime job at a corporate building but works as a bartender at The Blue Moon every night; works at Tantra as a bartender occasionally when Ashton needs someone to fill in. Since she is in association with Iris, she is going to be damned to hell whenever she dies. Whenever a pure being is 'friendly' with a creature who is supposed to be evil, they become "tainted". Demons are constantly after her, despite her involvement with the dark side (though she strictly performs good magic). Has a protector named Cameron, and it's obvious that the two are attracted to each other though nothing has happened yet. Also has a German Shepherd named Sparky that barks at everyone except for Iris and herself. Stands at 5'4" with petite frame.

The Protector. Related to the archangel, Gabriel. A cast-down angel, per se. After refusing God's orders, he was considered a rebel and forced to walk the Earth for all of eternity. Began aging just after mankind was created, but exact age isn't possible to determine. Appears to be in his late twenties. His tattoos were not an act of rebellion; they're symbolic to his cause, and all have specific meaning. The markings appeared after he saved his first human at the ripe age of twelve. Met AJ three years ago, and has been protecting her ever since, along with the rest of New York. Secretly in love with Anastasia. Stands at 6'3" with muscular, toned build.
