It may not be easy, but that's show business. Audrey is happy that she met the Jonas-es because they are like the family she has never had. When she was five years old her father was killed in a car accident, which not only took his life, but the life of Audrey's older sister, Brooke. A few months after the accident Audrey's mother started abusing drugs. At first these drugs never affected Audrey, but when Audrey was thirteen her mother started becoming abusive. The abuse caused Audrey to call the police, and now Audrey's mother, Elle, is in a rehabilitation center.

Nick and Audrey form a friendship that Nick has never had with anyone before (besides his brothers): a true friendship.

He watches over her to make sure that Joe doesn't hurt her. And Audrey is glad to have a supportive "big brother" like Kevin. She knows that no matter what happens between her and Joe Kevin will always be there for her.

Audrey befriends Dani right when they meet each other and is happy to have Dani has a maternal figure. Audrey hardly ever sees her mother, who is in a rehabilitation center for drug use, and Audrey's father passed away when she was five. Dani takes Audrey under her wing and helps her cope with the media and all the new attention she will be getting.

Eden essentially takes the place of Brooke, Audrey's dead older sister. Eden knows that Joe is the perfect man for Audrey, and she thinks that Joe will help Eden recover from all her past experiences.
