The only child in an average American family, Zachary was bullied all through school, never having had the confidence to make friends or to fight back. For some teenagers, this might have driven them to desperate measures; Zachary turned instead to music, focusing all his energy into learning to play the guitar, teaching himself Iron Maiden, Metallica, Guns 'N' Roses and more :)

Matt Sanders

Matt is the singer in a metal band which doesn't yet have a name, and consists of a drummer (Matt's best friend James Sullivan) and a guitarist/vocalist - Matt himself. He first meets Zacky when he rescues him from his locker (after he was shoved in there by the school bully), and later becomes Zacky's first true friend.

James "Jimmy" Sullivan

Jimmy grew up as Matt's best friend, and when they decided to push their interest in music into forming a band, he played the drums (epic drumming skills :P). He has a naturally caring and loving disposition, with the innate ability to smile at any situation, but when something makes him angry, you know it.
