Again, some simliarities to real life. Gee has an alcohol addiction. He has never thought of himself as attracted to other men, but something about Frank makes him question his sexuality. However, he's not comfortable risking his band, the band's future, or most importantly, his friendship with Frank to explore these feeling, so he denies them.
