They where getting together to arrange full time parenting schemes back and forth between them, they where held up in a restaurant and her mother was taken as a hostage and her father was shot on the spot.It turned out the “Home” wanted the money and the guy running it had hired the assassin, the “Home” was closed and everyone was shipped out to other homes. After a night at the last home when she turned sixteen she ran away. After dying her hair she took £3000 out of the bank and never looked back moved in with some ex-home kids and applied for a passport, she then moved to England when she was eighteen and started waitressing at a cafe while she rented her own place, she then applied for a visa and had it granted. She now started a night course to learn how to sign so she can work as a signing disabled help teacher, this became her dream when she was in the home with a disabled kid unable to go to school as the state couldn’t afford to get someone to help him. One day her and the Cafe owners daughter her best friend Sophie applied for a waitressing job at special occasions with a Famous Local Restaurant. One night Sophie was supposed to work when Basil was at school, but Sophie was pregnant and having morning sickness and didn’t want to lose her job. Basil worked the Event wearing Sophie’s badge so the EventPlanner couldn’t tell the company that Sophie didn’t turn up. This was no ordinary event as you will see.

She devoriced Target a month after the baby was born taking half of his mother’s money and the other half was to be put in a trust fund for Elijah Henries when she was 18/21. Also Target was only aloud Elijah once a month or he would lose all rights. Harsh, but worst than that he was put in jail for a month as he slept with Sandy a day before she was sixteen , Even though she had initiated it. so he's strongly against James's infatuation with Basil (who they both think is called Sophie)

Sophie met Basil when Basil asked for a job at her dad’s cafe, so she could apply to live in the UK. (The girls always suspected a large bribe fell in the directors of the metropolitan police’s lap.) Any way Sophie kept her baby and her mom, Daliah and Greg are helping her look after Shaina. Her brother Carter and sister Brooklyn are helping too.
