Frank Iero was always a good kid, did what his parents asked of him and kept good grades. He enjoyed being the joker and making his friends laugh, hell, Frankie Iero could cheer anyone one up on their worst day. That is, until his father left when he was ten; causing Frank’s mind to be in other places when at school and his grades dropping dramatically. With his poor school records he started to get more detentions and have less time after school, resulting in having less time with his friends. Eventually, Frank became a loner and everybody of his past just resembled faint ghosts of a life he could only dream of now. Feeling like a terrible failure, Frank still did whatever his mother asked of him. This included fetching whatever she needed from the shops, dashing ‘round to a friend’s house to pick up something his mother had ‘left’ there and so on. Of course, this all seemed okay when Frank was young, he thought he was being a good boy for his mom, and was trying to make up for everything that he felt was his fault. But, when you’re 16, you realise that the white powder in the clear packet isn’t sherbet, you realise that people are touching you in all the wrong places and that ‘mommy’s drink’ isn’t anything innocent. Frank Iero didn’t want the lifestyle that had been rammed down his throat, didn’t want the names he was called by the men he walked past, didn’t want the judgemental stares from mother’s he saw at the park with their children, he even doubted that he wanted his life anymore.

Gerard Way currently lived with his brother in a small two-bedroom apartment on the outskirts of Belleville, just managing to hang onto life. His recent ex-boyfriend, Buck, forcing him to leave what used to be his home. Gerard had thought he was in love with Buck, and the couple lived together for three years, seemingly content with the life they had. Until Gerard found out that his partner had been doing drugs, and that’s where all their money seemed to be disappearing to. When Gerard found out, he confronted his boyfriend, thinking that they could talk about anything. But things had not gone to plan; Buck had begun to emotionally blackmail Gerard, telling him that if Gerard loved him, he wouldn’t ask for his to give up his addictions. And of course, Gerard being head-over-heals for Buck did what he was asked. Buck had Gerard wrapped around his finger, and whenever he needed more money for his fix he’d try to convince Gerard to sleep with his friends. When Gerard refused, he’d only get abused and this lead to Gerard being shot with various drugs, drugs that he did not want, until he until he passed out, and had no control over the situation. And slowly, it became Gerard’s addiction too. Soon enough, money was too tight and they lost their house. Mikey, being the caring brother that he was, finally found out why he had been pushed out of his older brother’s life and swore to kill Buck; along with promising to help Gerard get better, which lead to Gerard and Mikey living together. Alas, Gerard wouldn’t let his baby brother become a ***er, so somewhere out in this shitty little world, Buck still lived. That is, unless he’d finally died from an overdose. One can only hope.

Mikey Way, Gerard’s brother, is a sweet and caring man, especially towards his friends. Mikey took Gerard in after discovering what Buck was doing to him, he and Gerard now live together in a small apartment on the outskirts of Belleville. Mikey has always wanted to start a band, ever since he was little. The two brothers would speak of it when they were young, and it was something Mikey never forgot. Music was a passion of his, even if he couldn’t play anything amazingly well at the time. Mikey’s best friend, other than Gerard, is Ray Toro, who is currently teaching Mikey how to play bass. While he works in a pizzeria, he would love to work in a comic book store, but still, getting free pizzas every now and again is pretty awesome. He loves his brother to bits and only wants to make a good life for the pair of them, but most of all, he wants Gerard to be happy. ..And to kill Buck. But that’s illegal, and going to prison would so not be cool.
