  Oliver Scott Sykes is the famous lead singer to the chart-topping metalcore band, Bring Me The Horizon. He’s been dating Adelynne Andreyev for a little over a year, and the two have officially moved in together upon BMTH’s return to England. After dealing with a serious heroin addiction, Oli has found himself sober for two years and is a proud Narcotics Anonymous attendee. No matter what country he’s in, he’ll get at least one meeting in per month. He’s a dedicated recovered addict, and he seems to have everything—fame, money, the perfect girlfriend—but something still feels like it’s missing in his life, and this emptiness is evident to everyone around him. Including Adelynne.

  Amanda is a supermodel that does most of her business between London and Milan. Her and John Caulfield stayed good friends throughout the years that have passed, and they currently live together with a girl they’ve both grown close to, Hollie Hmiddouche. John had pursued his dream of becoming a photographer shortly after Amanda moved in with him and they both decided to get clean. He’s the one that kickstarted Amanda’s modeling career; she’d modeled in the photographs he sent to agencies, and they’ve been working together in the modeling industry ever since.

  Adelynne and Oli met at a coffee shop. Adelynne was a down-and-out model in desperate need for an agency, and Oli was on a two-week break from touring, only really wanting a large coffee with a shot of espresso. Once he met Adelynne, though, and spent a little while talking to her, he offered her a job as a model for his new clothing company, Drop Dead. She proved to be a good friend, and only a few weeks after their first encounter, they started dating exclusively. Since her breakthrough with Drop Dead Clothing, Adelynne has become a popular model in the United Kingdom, though not really pushing her fame past UK borders. It is her that introduced Amanda Hendrick to Bring Me The Horizon, though she has no clue who Amanda ever was to Oli. As far as Adelynne knows, Amanda was just a supermodel known throughout the world that she did one photoshoot with.

  John Caulfield

  22

  John is a famous photographer that works a lot with Amanda, but he doesn’t travel for the majority of his business, whereas Amanda travels at least weekly between Milan and London. He’s been Amanda’s stronghold since her relationship with Oli ended, and he’s always been there for her throughout the years that have passed. His and Amanda’s relationship is purely platonic, though there could be merit for someone outside to question whether or not it’s romantic.

  Since Oli had kicked him out of 117 Strelley Road, Lee decided to quit any kind of drug he’d ever touched. He still worked on writing music, deciding that the music industry sounded like a good place to get out all his frustrations, and he and Oli reunited shortly after Amanda was out of the picture. Sometime during the late winter, he was playing an acoustic set at a coffee shop, and Oli decided to approach him and apologize. The two reunited as friends afterwards, slowly mending their friendship, and they worked on writing a few songs to send to a record company. Their demo consisted of three songs—‘***’, ‘Don’t Go’, and ‘It Never Ends’—and after sending it to a number of different record companies, one independent label finally called them back and set up a meeting for them to perform the three songs. Julie Weir, the founder of the record company that signed them, Visible Noise, immediately developed a liking for the band, and so after a few long hours of performing to prove themselves and brainstorming to better, an orchestra and someone with clean vocals were decided to be hired and added into the three songs, and they settled on recording a music video for one of the songs to release as their first single. Since that day two years ago, Oli and Lee worked on writing more songs and eventually came up with a twelve-track album to release six months later. Julie and Tom set up a world tour for the band, seeing how positively the public reacted to their demo, and that fall, almost a year after Amanda Hendrick had come into their lives, they left for their first international show in Venice, California. Their tour lasted for 16 months, and it is now coming to an end with their last show at Bush Hall in London. The band is scheduled to be releasing a new album come autumn, which means Lee and Oli are to immediately start writing so the band can start recording with Julie again in the summer.

  Hollie is Amanda and John’s good friend and roommate. She and John met at an NA meeting shortly after he and Amanda decided to get clean, and the three of them have been very close since.

  Tom Sykes

  Tom is a photographer and does a lot of his work with Bring Me The Horizon. He’s the band’s tour manager and does everything with them—travels, records, sets up for shows, et cetera. He helps Oli with his clothing line, as well. After Bring Me The Horizon had developed some fame, Tom was the one to suggest that Oli release a clothing line as an outlet for his artwork, which was something that he’d taken up as a form of therapy to help himself get clean.

  Jona is the rhythm guitarist in Bring Me The Horizon, and he’s very proud of what he and his friends have accomplished in such a short time. He’s still seeing Malin, and the two have been clean for two years, deciding to recover shortly after Amanda’s departure from their house. It’s been rumored that they’re going to get married, seeing as Malin’s recently been walking around with a rock around her finger, but no one outside the band is really sure of it. He’s been clean from any and all drugs for almost two years, and he still attends as many NA meetings as he can.

  Malin travels with Bring Me The Horizon no matter where they go. She and Jona have their own place in upper-class London, but he never wants to leave her alone, and so she travels all around the world with the band. She, too, is a dedicated recovered addict.

  Matt is the bassist in Bring Me The Horizon, and he’s the most levelheaded person in the band—as he’s always been in their group. He’s been seeing his girlfriend, Erika, for a little over a year, and the two met at the first Canadian show BMTH played, in Montreal. Before he met her, he still smoked weed, though was never addicted, and after they met, discovering that she was straightedge, he quit it altogether and never touched any drug ever again.
