Erika hails from the suburbs of Montreal, Quebec, and she had heard of Bring Me The Horizon through a friend, whose dad owned the venue they were playing at. She was able to meet the band at an after-party following the show, and she introduced herself to Matt as “a curious bystander”, and his heart had been hooked on her ever since.

Matt is the drummer to Bring Me The Horizon. Once suffering a serious addiction to crystal meth, Matt is now clean and drug-free. He’ll enjoy an occasional stiff drink, but what was once a problem is now a healthy—and seldom—indulgence. Just a few days after Amanda’s departure from 117 Strelley Road, he’d overdosed again, and this final hospital visit proved to be his most important; upon departure, he’d left being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and a requirement to take daily medication. He’s been on a good road ever since and is sure to attend any and all NA meetings he can with Oli and Jona.
