Delaney and Patrick had had a good relationship when it was long distant when Delaney was working as a tv producer in New York City. But, after Delaney moved to Chicago, she and Kane began to really fall apart when Delaney realized Patrick would never get over his playboy ways. She tried moving on with her life, attempting to date new guys, but no one ever seemed to make her as happy as Kane did, even if he did break her heart at times when he cheated on her.

Patrick Kane

Kane doesn't exactly have the best track record when it comes to relationships, especially his with Delaney. He's cheated on her several times, though she's taken him back each time. Except this last time a year ago. He hasn't been the same since his breakup with her. And, when he got the opportunity to try to get their relationship back on track a month ago, he slept with her and then let her go, something he still regrets to this day. Even girls that are throwing themselves at him, offering him pure sex and nothing else, doesn't make him feel better.

Raylene Burish

Raylene had to start a brand new life in Dallas when Adam signed there, but she soon got accustomed to living there. Though she and Adam have two children, she has found a way to work but still be a prominent figure in her young kids' lives. Even though she is a thousand miles from her old friends, she still keeps in touch with them. She is ecstatic that she and Adam get to fly back to Chicago so she can see all of her old friends in person once again.

Adam Burish

Leaving the team he was drafted by devastated Adam, who wanted to spend his whole career with the Chicago Blackhawks, as improbable as that seems. But, he fit in easily in Dallas, getting more playing time, and becoming another fan favorite there. He and Raylene have had some trouble having some alone time with their two kids, but they make manage with what they can. Adam is excited to go back to Chicago to see all of his old friends, even if he is going to be there for only a short period of time.

Sawyer (Tanley) Sharp

Sawyer always thinks of the consequences of everything, always worrying and nervous about what could come about as a result of something. And, while she knows marrying Patrick is the best thing for her, she's still getting flustered about the wedding itself. Following her mother's wishes, Sawyer and Sharp are having a big, fancy wedding, something that neither of them really want, but Sawyer just wants to make her mother happy. But, along the way, she finds herself fretting over the details of the wedding more than enjoying the fact that she's about to marry the man of her dreams.

Sharp used to think he would never get married, not thinking that he really needed to be tied down to one person for the rest of his life. But, Sawyer changed that from the moment he met her. Now, after dating for a couple of years, the two of them are finally getting married. He couldn't be happier, even if the fans aren't exactly excited about the hottest bachelor on the team getting married.
