Ember is the main character in the Chronicles of Ember stone. Her story begins in the first book, "I will not break." She is kidnapped by the hot vampire Graves, also know as Creeper. They start out despising each other till she is revealed to be his bonded mate, also known as soul mate. Before her life was turned upside down she was a calm, collective sort of person. She had friends, but they were few and very dear to her, and the only family she ever knew about was her mother, whom she loses. She was always a protective person but before her life changed she was never really violent. She followed the rules, but someone seemed to bring that side out of her. (Graves- hint hint-) Ember originally has Pitch black hair, and Green eyes, but she died it to a bleach blond for a while. Her skin is a pale white with a pink tinting added to it. She always has been gorgeous but she never really saw that in her. Ember's adventures in my book put her through many triles that change her into the person everyone knows her as in my book, the person I have grown to love; just plain Ember Stone. Graves is the son of a very powerful man and he has grown up living in his father's shadow knowing that one day he will take his place. Graves has always been a Brilliant guy who the ladies loved, but Graves has never wanted anyone before that way.. That is until he meets Ember. Ember is his blood mate., er blood calls to him, and after the first contact with her nothing else matter.. Only Ember.. Ember stone.

Rubin is Graves older brother, and also Beth's master. Rubin is what you would call the evil henchman in my book. He is smart, but dumb in his own way. He wants to be bad but part of him longs to be good. Lifes never went the way he wanted and for that he is always trying to one up his brother. Rubin is also in love with Ember because of the powers she welds. Rubins personality is Cocky and very arogant. He is the middle child in the family. Rubin is a very outgoing guy. .He has always been very jealous of his brother, and he was originally going to be Embers bloodmate but graves saved her from that fate. He loves his family but the bad guy has promised him ember an he wants her.

Beth plays the role of the best buddy, and Rubin's Blood slave in I will Not Break. Her and Ember met when they became roommates and hit it off from there. Beth is the sacrificing best friend that does anything for the people she cares about, including submitting to Rubin's torturous ways. She is in love with Sam but Rubin threatens his life any time he wants. She is a very complicated person but in her own way she deserves the happiness she so longs for.

Quinn is the father of Ember stone and the villain throughout the series. His story starts out as an angel. He was an angel of God, perfect and pure, but he was one of the angels to follow Satan when he was cast out of heaven. Being cast out of Heaven changed him, no longer pure or perfect he was corrupted by evil and truly became what people now know as demons. He lived centuries buried deep in hatred for God, and he quickly became known as one of the most powerful demons to follow Satan. He never really had any romantic, or civil relationships with humans because he despised them for the love and mercy God gave us, but something changed that... Someone. He met Ember's mother, Sarah Stone at a coffee shop when she was at the age of twenty two, hair as blond as gold, eyes as blue as an ocean, her smile drew him in from the moment he laid eyes on her, but the problem was, is He was an angel and he had lived for centuries, been with women for pleasure and to feed his hunger but that was it. Never before had he wanted a woman such as this. He would have her, and he did. No woman could resist the era of an angel because perfection was still in their beauty. Sarah fell in love with the angel and he with her, despite his hatred for humans... That was until she came with child. Quinn had never heard of such things with angels and humans, nor did he know it possible, because no one ever talked about it... It was frowned upon dearly. Quinn left Sarah the day the child, Ember Stone was born in hope of her taking after her mother, because with the little history he found on Halfling was they normally were born ninety percent human... Most of them were, but not Ember. The day of her birth the demons rose up, and confronted Quinn for his tracery, and congratulated him... But for what? A prophecy had been released from the Prophets of a child, born of angel and of human who would awaken angel and demon to the power of humans. She would either rise up an angel, pure in heart and protect and love the earth for eternity, ruling over them in the shadows, her leadership over all angels an demons alike. Only to God would she answer, for she is his chosen daughter of a pure of heart human never corrupted by the evil that had befallen her from her lover... Or she would fall into evil, corrupted forever as a demon. Enslaving the human race and become a dictator over all the earth and the reign of demons shall arise. Two paths, two results. Good or evil was the prophecy and Quinn feared it would be her, but the day he came back Sarah was gone... Left town and everyone she loved... But Ember. Quinn searched for years for his chosen daughter, but the Power of God shielded her from his eyes, protecting her from evil till the day the prophecy would begin. Quinn never really understood the true meaning of love, because all he ever wanted Ember for was power. Her mate Graves was an enemy of Quinn because it also stated in the prophecy that a creature of the night would arise by her side, and bring all monsters of the night out, and defend her if she chose the path of light, but if she chose power he would lead the army of the night against them, in hope of bringing her to her death. Quinn's features were of a man in his late thirties with shoulder length black hair, midnight blue eyes and a strong body structure, but he was ageless. He will forever be young and evil, bringing havoc to the earth and provoking Ember to wrath.
