History: A full blooded Saiyan female, Katima was sent off of planet Vegeta shortly after she was born just before the planet was destroyed by Frieza. Originally destined for planet Namek to destroy it. However, her space pod was put off track and landed instead on planet Earth where an old woman by the name of Lily came across her. Having pure Saiyan drive to destroy everything, Lily was forced to plant a unique power called the Bond on her, making it so that Katima felt all the pain Lily did and if Lily died, so would she. Forced to live in the forest in a tree home, Katima was never exposed to human kind much and often resented them for being the reason she was locked up. Lily trained her how to fight and use her energy and fly. When Katima turned twenty one, Lily passed away from old age, but taught her how to cast the Bond and removed it from Katima before dying. A year later, Katima was sent a dream vision of the demise of Radditz and Goku, who held him while Piccolo shot a beam through them both. In the vision, Piccolo spoke of a warning of two more to come and destroy the planet and that they only had a year to prepare. This vision was sent to her by Kami and Piccolo, as they had felt another strong power source on the planet and contacted her to assist. Katima, who at the time knew none of these people, in fact, never knew anyone but Lily in all her years, took the vision to heart and trained, purely because she had seen that Radditz had had a tail in the dream like hers. A year after the first dream was sent, two other Saiyans did arrive on planet Earth and Katima followed them to where they were to face off with Piccolo, Gohan, and the other Z fighters. Having never known about what she truly was, it is Vegata that explains that she is a Saiyan, and was the youngest child of Bardock, who was father to both Radditz and Goku. He then gives her the choice to join him and Nappa in destroying Earth, but Katima instead sides with the Z fighters. She is informed that they are merely buying time for Goku to return from the dead from a wish of the Dragon Balls, and how those can grant any wish, and it was what the other two Saiyans were here for. In order to buy time and keep from getting killed, Katima is forced to plant the Bond on Vegeta, intending on killing herself to kill him if Goku didn't show up in time. However, her brother does arrive, but not in time to save Yamcha, Tien, Chautzu, or Piccolo. Gokue swiftly breaks the spine of Nappa, the one that had killed them, and, seeing his second now useless, Vegeta kills Nappa in cold blood. With the combined efforts of Goku, Katima, Gohan, Krillin, and even Yajurobi, They manage to stop Vegeta from destroying the Earth, but Goku allows him to escape with his life. The rest of her tale is written in the story, The Bond. Personality: Katima was raised in the forest by and old woman, and always told she was a danger to others. This has led her to be very emotionally withdrawn, but also left her with a harsh protectiveness of human kind and Earth. Though she resented human kind when she was young for them being the reason of her being penned up, she grows past it as she gets older. She also comes accustomed to her emotions and the social ques in the normal world. Holding a harsh protectiveness over friends, family, and the innocent, Katima hates those who lie, hurt the weak, and play dirty, so to speak. She holds high honor in battle, and tries her best to be a good example. Looks: Katima while in her normal form, has crystal blue eyes, raven black hair that remains long until past the Frieza Saga. She has slanted eyes, a heart shaped face, a small button nose that angles up slightly, and a curved slender frame. She is rather short, in fact, the shortest out of the females of the saga, that is, Bulma, Chichi, 18, and Videl. When she transforms to the first form of Super Saiyan, (at this point her hair has been cropped short, about chin length) her eyes turn grass green and her hair blond, staining on end save a single section that hangs down over her right eye slightly. The second level of Super Saiyan, which she achieves after the Cell Saga but before the Buu Saga, makes her hair lengthen slightly more, and her muscles look more toned. Super Saiyan forms three and four have yet to be announced.
