Candy is a young girl who's past has completely ruined her. She ran away from the home of a meth addicted mother and a sexually abusive step father as soon as she turned 18 and became a dancer. She drinks heavily and will do any drug you throw at her, only to numb herself from the pain and self-loathing. She hates who shes become, and is desperate for someone to step into her life and make things better, take her mind off of things. Desperate for someone to love her.

Matt is the biggest weed dealer in Detroit. Everyone has bought from him, and if you haven't then you probably bought from someone he supplies for. He doesn't care about others, and constantly lies and steals for his own advantage. Unless you're his best friend, Jason, he'll use you until you're washed up. Hes the stereotypical bad boy; gets into fights, smokes cigarettes, breaks the law (obviously), drinks until he can't stand up, and anything else you can think of.

Jason is Matt's best friend; his right hand man. Hes as intimidating and as much of an asshole as Matt. But there's something different about Jason. Nobody can ever really put their finger on it, but its whenever they're around him; they get a strange feeling. Everyone shrugs it off as nothing, but maybe one day it may turn out to be something after all.

Sapphire is really Candy's only friend, and works at Sugar Lips with her. Shes always honest, even when the truth hurts. Sapphire is very protective over Candy, and even though she is only a year older than her; she very much treats her like a little sister.
