Ivy Jane has thought to be a human for her whole life, she was a perfect human, crimson red hair, gray-teal eyes, smart, athletic, stylish, smart, and the captain of the girls chess team. But she has always made things happen that she couldn't explain, and the only way to help control it is to go to a Boarding School, that she thinks will only help her with her problem. When really, it's where she finds who she is, and what she wants to be. Ivy Jane has a little brother who is younger then her by a year, the two of them argue all the time. They go to Hogwarts together once they are told they have to go, her brother is a fifth year while she is a sixth year.

Mathew, who is better known as Matt, is the younger brother of Ivy-Jane. The two of them have a strange relationship, arguments are always there. If they aren't fighting, they will be soon. Matt is only one year younger then Ivy, although she is sixteen, and he is fourteen, his birthday is on December 29th, while hers is July4th. Mathew has much more control over his unknown powers, he has less incidents where he actually causes damage. He is very laid back. When he goes to Hogwarts along with Ivy, he will be a fifth year.

Sage Sullivan is the widowed mother of Ivy-Jane, and Mathew. Sage Sullivan is a muggle, and has kept her children's gift a secret. Before her husband died in a 'car accident', he had told her everything about the wizardry world and that Ivy and Mathew would be accepted in to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. When Ivy turned eleven, it was rumored within the ring of loyal followers to Voldemort that he was going to return. They found it to be to dangerous to send their children to even Hogwarts, so, they wrote back saying they would be homeschooling instead. Which they never did, and when Ivy was fourteen, and Matt thirteen they were told their father died in a car accident. She wants the best for her children, to her, keeping her children away and out of their world was safest for them, at least until Voldemort was rightfully dead. But Albus Dumbledore makes sure she sends Ivy and Mathew to Hogwarts, even though they have no experience, he would see to it that they could defend themselves for the up and coming battle.
