Sam's parents, Tara and Mitchell, moved in near the Weasleys when her mother was five months pregnant with her. Molly Weasley had just had Ron a few months earlier, and after meeting the soon-to-be first-time parents, gave them tips on parenting. The two families became very close. Once she was old enough, Sam went over to the Weasley's home almost every day. She was very close to all of the Weasley children, excluding Percy (whom she never really liked too much), but spent most of her time with Ron, Fred, George, and Ginny. When she was four, her parents, who were eccentric people, were killed in an experiment that went bad. Having no living relatives to go to, Sam went and lived with the Weasleys. Now Sam is in her fourth year at Hogwarts. She's a very friendly girl, but can also have a short fuse at times. She spends most of her time at school with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, but also makes time for Ginny and the twins. As she got older, she found that getting into trouble with the twins was a talent. She loves her friends and the family she's gained since losing her parents. (Sam's age will increase as the stories go on, though this will continually say that she's 14.)
