    Straight

Lola was from France and grew up in an abusive family, then was taken out of her home by foster care when she was 3. She doesn't remember anything of her parents and in her opinion she couldn't care less. She knew that hurting children was terrible and that any parents who decide to do that to a child deserved to not have one. Her adopted parents were very nice and treated her well. Unfortunately as soon as she graduated from high school, they died in a car accident and she was left to fend for herself. She worked in a restaurant and met her best friend, Clarice Gesseron. They moved into an apartment together and supported each other through college. Lola loved the ocean and majored in the field of Marine Biology. Her best friend married, shortly after meeting the love of her life, and wanted to move out of the apartment, much to Lola's dismay. She would have to move into a rusty old apartment building and drop out of school in order to pay for it. She met an Indian Astrophysicist who lived and worked over in the United States over the internet and they hit it off. During this time, she replayed what her roommate was wanting to do, and ended up deciding to move to the US to pursue her dream of being a Marine Biologist. Her roommate then moved and so did Lola. Her story is written through my story: Raj and Lola.

Carly lost her parents when she was very young. 5 to be exact. They died in a house fire while she was over at her Grandmothers for the night. Because of how young she was, she can't say that she remembers all too much about them. Although, if she thinks hard enough she can see them in her mind. She was then moved into her Grandmothers to be raised by her. As a teenager, she never had many friends. She had one that was considered a geek and because of that, she was considered one as well. They made fun of her clothes and had taunted that she looked like a grandma. She graduated from high school with great grades and went onto college where she realized she wanted to be a librarian. Books were her passion. After getting her degree and spending a couple years working at the local Burbank, CA library, Carly decided she wanted a place to call her own. Her Grandmother supported her and found an ad in the newspaper, stating there was a apartment for rent over in Pasadena. She made her mind up and moved the 30 minutes over to her new apartment. The rest of her story is written in the story: Carly's Sheldon.
