Vanessa is now eighteen years old. She has beautiful green eyes that she inherited from her mother. Her mother was also the one to trian her into become a strong capable vampire. Vanessa is a pure-blood vampire which means that she was born a vampire. In the first book she stuck a deal with Victor. She agreeded to trian Victor to be a better vampire if he agreeded to kill Prince Winden-her husband to be. She recieved a jagged scar on her neck from the final battle in the first book. Normally vampires don't get scars but because it had been such a fatal wound it stayed. The sparks between Vanessa and Victor grew through out the course of Life Sucks but Love bites. Now the two of them live together in Victor's parents old house. Danyelle and Reece are here closest friends.

Victor Van Maddax

Victor is a rouge vampire meaning that he was turned into one. The vampire that had accidently turned him was also responsible for the death of his parents. Danyelle is his younger sister and he constantly worried about her being friends with Vanessa in the first book. However as he came to know Vanessa and even love his worry slowly slipped away. Victor drives a Gateway 1969 Mustang which he left to him byhis father. His mother adored the car as well making it a very precious object. All of his family shares a great intrest in old classic cars. The death of his parents haunts Victor and he wakes up multiple time in the middle of the night from nightmares. One of Victor's memorable traits is his icy blue yes. It is one of the things that drew Vanessa to him most. Victor and Vanessa live together and are both graduated.

Danyelle Marie Maddax

Danyelle is one of the only humans in this story. She is Victor's younger sister and Vanessa and Reece's best friend. Now a senior in highschool Danyelle has become the head newscaster for her school and has also ditched her gothic look and went back to her normal casual self. Danyelle had become obessed with black clothes and dark make-up after the death of her parents. Her bubby personality and quick smile are very common so when she is mad it is something to be reckoned with. She dating Reece's step brother Aiden. Whenever she is with him she is quick to blush and the two make an adorable couple. She still lives at home with her brother Victor and his girlfriend Vanessa.

Reece is the only other human other than Danyelle in the story. Reece is friends with Vanessa and Danyelle. When in highschool she was part of the newscasting team and got Danyelle into it as well. Her and Danyelle went on a few adventures together to get some great stories. Their most Famous being Ms. Gross's migrating mole. Reece is Aiden's step-sister so they are not actually related. Her father married Aiden's when she was very young and ever sence Aiden and her have been brother and sister. Because of all of her years working as a repoter she is an excellent go-to gal. Vanessa commented one time in book one that if she was ever in a difficult situation Reece would be the first person she'd call. It wasn't revelaed until the end of book one that her and Jason were dating. Now that she is graduated she lives with him and goes to college.

Aiden Allen Dumas

Aiden is Reece's step-brother. He took on Reece's father's last name after their parents married when he was twleve. He doesn't know much about his own father and looks up to Reece's. Aiden is Alpha of his pack and he is also the oldest. Aiden has a very commanding attitude when the situation calls for it but other wise he is a very random man. He has a sun tatto on the inside of his right bicep. When Danyelle asks why he got a sun and instead of a moon for werewolves and replied. 'Full moons are overratted, besides having a tatto like that would be a huge give away that I was a werewolf.' Aiden and Danyelle are now offically dating and he will often be seen picking her up from school instead of her brother Victor.

Jason is the back beta (second in command) in Aiden's pack. Him Roger and Aiden have all been close since childhood and will often bee seen joking around together. He doesn't like to be complimented or clean up other people's messes. Wich is one of the reasons why he is beta. As Beta his job is to watch the Alpha's back. It wasn't revealed until the end of the first book that He was dating Aiden's step sister Reece. Reece and him have no secrets between them and they are even living together.

Kevin

One of Aiden's pack members. He is a very strange and sexually confused red head. The pack will normally yell at him when he says somthing that sounds strange or gay. Later on it is revealed that Kevin is allowed in Aiden's circle because of his superior fighting skills in wolf form (as seen in final battle of book one). Wolf form- Completely Red very similar to a fox

Joey is one of Aiden's pack mates but other than that not much is known about him.

Roger

Roger is Aiden's delta (third in command). He protects what is the Alpha's. This mostly applies to Danyelle. So when Aiden isn't able to be with her he will have Roger go off to check up on her. Roger is one of Aiden's and Jason's friends. They all grew up together. He is the youngest out of the three.
