Cassian was a geeky, skinny Gryffindor at Hogwarts with a long time crush on Malicia Maena who was a pretty, more popular Slytherin with a boyfriend. He was always abnormally smart and socially awkward. In his twenties he was attacked by a werewolf and turned into one. Instead of feeling damned by his curse, he used his always peculiar curiosity to try and develop a cure for the werewolf “disease”. This led him to start branching into muggle sciences and teaming up with a muggle doctor to pursue further magical uses for muggle medicine. Now he work at Saint Mungo’s as a doctor and in exchange has a lab of his own, nicknamed “The Cave”, at the facility where he continues his research into the unknown.

Lia Black is very kind natured, from New Zealand, she was muggle born. When she found out she was a witch she kept the secret hidden from her parents under the guise that she was going off to boarding school. Smart and clever, she was instantly put into Ravenclaw. At school she became very close with Malicia Maena, a peculiar Slytherin girl and Theodore Jameson and shy and broody Slytherin. When she grew older, she kept the secret of her skills from her parents which has hindered her life ever since. Now she works at Hogwarts as the Astronomy professor.

Malicia Maena’s parents and older brother died when she was little and she was raised in a muggle orphanage until she was old enough to attend school at Hogwarts. There she was sorted into Slytherin and was known for being odd in that she would rather consort with other houses than her own. Still, proud to be a Slytherin she attracted the attention of Nico Andrews who she connected with immediately and dated through all her years in school. Her best friends were Lia Black and Cassian Russell, a Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. After school, she parted ways with Nico when they realized their had different ideas of where their lives were going. Malicia studied magic around the world and started researching the myths of the planet and finding truth in them. She became the best in her field and sold numerous books about her findings and adventures. In her early thirties she teamed up with Luna Lovegood and continued her quest. Recently they’ve opened an oddities store in a wizarding town in Wales. Malicia started teaching an elective class at Hogwarts called Foreign Magic and has since rekindled her old friendships with Lia and Cassian. She is proud, often sarcastic, passionate, and a bit of a trouble maker.

Nico Andrews

In his youth, Nico Andrews was a strong, confident, proud Slytherin and one of the few who didn’t support You Know Who’s efforts. He was always overly ambitious, aiming for good grades, prefect, head boy, top of his class and quidditch team captain, not to mention one of the best chasers the team ever had. He had a long time girlfriend, Malicia Maena, and he planned on spending his life with her. When she broke it to him that she didn’t want to settle down and be a housewife, out of spite he said it was over and married another girl, who had long fancied him and tormented Malicia for having been his sweetheart. Together they had a son, Collin, who is a Hufflepuff (and proud, as his father has taught him to always be proud of who he is) and is estranged from his ex-wife. Now the mayor of a prominent wizarding town and a very prominent figure in the Ministry of Magic. He’s currently running for Minister.

Theodore Jameson

Theodore Jameson was a dark, broody, and rather lost Slytherin in his youth. He was always quiet and had a hard time forming friendships with anyone. He grew close to a kind Ravenclaw, Lia Black, and they became fast friends. They lost touch over the years, but now he’s returned as a Potions Master at Hogwarts. His past is a mystery, but it’s dark and now he’s trying to right his wrongs.
