He was initiated when he was nine and became a true member when he made his first kill when he was 14. Thanks to his uncle's favorite pet name for him- Bird- and the amount of blood on Nick's hands, the crew and everyone else in the world knows him as Bloody Bird, the ruthless executioner on Ol' Night's ship. Due to everyone seeing him as 'Bloody Bird' Nick doesn't see 'Nick' as alive anymore.

The Captain to preoccupied with his job gave his loyal friend, going by the name Runty, responsibility of the child.Ocean raised by the strongest fighter on the crew became a skilled fighter himself.Gaining confidence and intelligence but also ruthless and reckless.
