He is scared of the world that surrounds him., maybe that was why he attached himself to Colton Nash in middle school. Bennett was small, defenseless, while Colton towered over the other kids and held his own. Colton was good for him, whether people agreed on the fact or not. Bennett slinks back away from society, showing the world around him a quiet, awkward, academically unintelligent boy scared of his own shadow. While really, he is the sweetest, silliest, most stubborn kid you'll ever meet. The only people that seem to know, or even care for that matter is his little sister Opal, and Colton.

He does what he wants, when he wants to do it. He doesn't quite abide by the laws as everyone else does, which concludes him being seen as a bad influence to little Bennett Hayes. He lives and breathes for only three things, which he would be nothing without, his mother, music, and most of all, Bennett. Though his is often rude behavior is accompanied by sarcastic comments that tend to offend people, he is a good person at heart and will do anything to protect the things that he loves.
