Ashton, AKA Ash, is a 17 year old girl, who lost her mother to suicide when she was almost 16 years old. She is now very quiet, and introverted, but she is very spunky and witty underneath it all. After losing her mother, her father forces her to move to Washington for a new start and a new high school. But nothing but themselves has changed. Because of past bullying experiences and the loss of her mother, she doesn't want to move or make new friends, or even speak to her father. Ever since the death, her father has grown irritable and has developed a drinking and anger issue. This effects Ash even more, and because of him, she is in danger in her own home. Only a few weeks after meeting Vic Fuentes, she has developed feelings for him. She doesn't want to feel or get attached, but Vic has left her with no option. He is all she truly has now, and as she hopes, forever.
