She had a normal life being raised by her mother, while her always busy father protected Ilex Forest from the dangers humans may bring on it. She always looked up to her older brother Jude who had big dreams to make a name for himself. Mack didn't start off as an outgoing girl, at first Mack was a timid, awkward child that would spend almost every waking moment talking to the Ilex Forest Shrine, in hopes to one day see the mythical Celebi. Around the age of 8 Mack finally grew out of her old habits of visiting the old shrine and now spent time helping her Uncle Kurt. Now spending all of her time collecting Apricorns for her uncle to make custom Pokeballs with. About a week before her 9th birthday her Uncle gave her a loveball as an early gift, before taking her to Slowpoke Well. Her Uncle with the biggest smile on his face pushed Mack down the well, telling her the best time to catch a Pokemon is when it's unexpected. Mack argued with her Uncle to let her out, but instead he dropped his Slowpoke on her head and walked away laughing. Mack searched and searched but, finally found a lost and confused Seel, that Mack gladly caught, and raised as her partner. The story begins, as the day after Mack's 10th birthday.
