Elena has had a rough childhood and teenage life. Her stepfather was an abusive, alcoholic and her mother irresponsible, who did nothing to stop the beatings on both her and her older brother, Sam. Sam was the one who taught Elena to fight, fire a gun and most of all survive because most of the time, if not all of the time, she would spend it out in the woods with her brother after being thrown out of the house by their stepfather. After her brother's death coming back home from the war, Elena has attempted to make a life for herself after finding out her brother welled all his money and a house to her, by going to college. Elena O'Shea is portrayed by the actress, Ellen Page.
