Cassidy is one of the FBI's top agents and made a name for herself since she started at the age of 18. Her childhood isn't one she is proud of, but since she was a baby her "survive and come out stronger" attitude kept her going. Her father abandoned her when she was little, and died when she was a teenager. Her Mother never took care of her properly, so she was alone until she met her partner, Juliet Sanders. She does or will do whatever she can to save citizens, even if it means putting herself in the line of fire.

Juliet Sanders is married to frontman of Avenged Sevenfold, Matt Sanders. Her maiden name is Simmons, but she doesn't claim it very often anymore. Her childhood was not ideal. Her father died of a drug overdose before she was born, and her mother neglected her for drugs and alcohol. She moved to California three years ago and before that, she was a detective for the New York Metropolitan Police. Her gentle nature, along with her never say die attitude makes her the perfect partner for Cassidy Martin, and she feels Cassidy needs to learn to have fun when not on the job.

Adrienne Trueblood is a reporter for the local newspaper. She specializes in Criminal Justice pieces, and met Juliet Sanders and Cassidy Martin while covering one of their previous cases. She is invited to a barbeque by Juliet, where she meets the most annoying, yet the gentlest man she had ever known. His blue eyes ends up breaking her walls, and she can't help but fall into their icy grasp.
