Adrianna starts as an eleven year old girl living in a muggle orphanage. Her mother had died when she was very young and she never knew her father. She becomes fast friends with Victoire Weasley, the daughter of Bill Weasley, and James Potter, the son of Harry Potter and Ginny *Weasley* Potter. As she grows up, she finds out there is more to her than she ever thought there could be, and she uses her new found strengths to overcome many obstacles.

Marissa Recorn is the deceased mother of Adrianna. She named Adrianna after her own mother, but gave Adrianna her paternal grandmother's maiden name as a surname in the hopes that the girl's father would realize it if he ever found her. She somehow knew her life would end before she could see her daughter grow up, so she had made arrangements with the orphanage in the case of her death. Marissa was a sweet, loving woman and tried to teach her daughter to be the same way.
