Chris Cerulli is an infamous gang banger and drug lord who thoroughly expresses that he doesn't care for anyone in general and that he hopes everyone dies from overdosing. Chris is a cold hearted rogue and is very protective of his gang and very few friends, especially his childhood friend Austin Carlile. But Chris didn't become that way on his own, just 7 years ago was the night it happened and changed Chris forever. He expresses his hatred for Kade Masters, stating that he's "Hot as *** but his personality is of one that is weak and far too nice for my liking" Or stating that "I'd *** him but I'm not a ***ing babysitter". But when things start to fall apart, Chris is Kade's only hope for solace and he finds that he simply can't turn away .

Austin Carlile is Chris's life long friend. Chris expresses that Austin is the only person he would ever admit to caring about deeply. Austin runs a portion of the city of Crisly for Chris and has his own gang but isn't as violent as Chris. Throughout the story, Austin has to continually keep Chris and Kade from going at each other's throats. But also Austin plays a key roll in Chris and Kade's relationship when he reveals to Kade parts of Chris's past.

Irritated with both, Oli decides to let Kade in on a little secret that sends him into a downwards spiral of rage and hurt. But will Oli's actions destroy Kade, himself or both?

Elliot Slater is Kade's best friend and also Gaige's best friend. Elliot often finds himself worrying about Kade's and Gaige's well-being. He notices every little thing and can always feel when something is wrong with his friends. Kade often describes Elliot as caring too much for his liking. Elliot is just a caring person, especially to Gaige and Kade.

Gaige is Elliot's and Kade's best friend. Kade and Gaige met years ago when they got into a brawl over toys and the sandbox. After a forced play date, Gaige and Kade became best friends. A year later they met Elliot and became best friends. Gaige has always been open and in general a nice person. Until his mom divorced his dad and his dad turned to alcohol. After that, Gaige eventually shut himself down and became a hardened shell, only caring for Kade and Elliot. But Elliot soon starts doing drugs, cocaine specifically. He bought the drugs from Chris Cerulli and soon his life is spiraling out of control. Gaige tells Kade of his misdeeds and soon goes to rehab to get clean.

Andy Biersack is a detective and he works for the Crisly Police Department. A few years ago he lost his brother Dylan due to Oli who coerced Dylan into drugs and prostituting. Dylan was later ***ed while on his job as a prostitute in Crisly. He was called to the scene of the crime and discovered Dylan with multiple stabs wounds, leaving Andy heartbroken and angry. Ever since, Andy has been hunting Oli down and he comes across Kade Masters and Chris Cerulli, who also has a connection to Oli. Learning everything he can about Kade and Chris, he confronts Kade and offers a deal. Kade is hesitant at first until he learns of Andy's motives. Kade later agrees. Andy develops a close friendship with Kade and Chris, that includes risking his life to help save Kade.
