Ostanna Lavellan is a Dalish elf that was cast out from her clan and ended up working with Hawke before and during the Qunari uprising in Kirkwall and the mage rebellion before going on to work with Iron Bull in Bull's Chargers, a mercenary company. Ostanna earned the nicknames Wolf Eyes and She-Wolf from Varric Tethras because of her eye coloring. Her tattoo on her face represents the elvhen Creator, Mythal. Ostanna is very goofy and prefers humor to seriousness. She had a casual sexual relationship with Varric for a while before having a short lived relationship with Faolin Hawke. She prefers casual hookups to serious relationships.

Faolin Hawke is the smart ass Champion of Kirkwall. He's a mage with a flair for dramatics and always has a smart mouth comment to make in any given situation. Faolin is laid back and very chill, but when he gets angry, it's like a whole new person comes out. It does take a lot to make him angry, however, so it's rare to see that side of him. He's flirtatious and loves flirting with his friend Isabela and Ostanna Lavellan, his ex lover. He and Varric Tethras are best friends and they can always be found in the Hanged Man together, drinking, talking and having a good time all around. After Ostanna left him to return to her clan, he settled down a little, still flirting but he's still 100% devoted to Ostanna, always hoping she would return. Since the mage rebellion went down, he had gone into hiding, staying in contact with Merrill, Isabela, Fenris, his brother Carver, Aveline and Varric, choosing to leave Sebastion and Anders out of his ring of close friends.
