She knows exactly who the father is but refuses to tell anyone. Her average life is shattered enough. She discovers she can no longer hide when Quinn invites her to a Cavaliers game, and she comes face to face with her deepest secret.

Quinn has been best friends with Alice and Tess since middle school. Alice has always seen her as the perfect girlfriend archetype, though she's never been envious of her. She is currently a waitress at a local sports bar, though she is trying to go through beauty school. She loves traveling and does it whenever she has the chance. She is a die-hard Cavaliers fan. She is one of Ethan's godmothers. She has had a big impact on Ethan's life so far, and she doesn't plan to stop any time soon.

TessAnne - Tess, as she's more commonly known - has known Alice and Quinn for a long time. She is currently attending Cleveland State, where she is finishing up her degree in business law. She spends as much time with her friends as possible, and she is a closet party animal. She is the first to buy everyone drinks and the last to stop drinking. She also loves basketball, especially the Cavaliers. She is also Ethan's godmother, and though she isn't around as often as Quinn, she helps Alice whenever she can.

Dan is a coworker of Alice's. He is her only friend at work, and she often comes to him for advice. He babysits Ethan on occasion. He knows all the gossip around the workplace and seemingly around Cleveland as well. Sometimes it scares Alice how much he knows, but she loves it almost as much as he does.
