A twenty-six year old who's yet to really find her purpose in life (or at least, move out of her mother's house), Cam is optimistic, at times too much so, trusting and loyal. She likes to think the world is a fun place despite knowing it isn't all sunshine and rainbows. She often finds herself in awkward situations, and finds it hard to get to know new people without feeling like something is going to go terribly wrong. She's extremely protective of her sister, Alex, even though they have a very volatile relationship at times – she's the ice to Alex's fire. She also has an older brother called Julian, but they rarely speak as he's too busy with a fully-fledged career in law and his burgeoning family.

Alex, as she is better known, is a carefree spirit. She dislikes being told what to do, how to act, or what to say. She's actually extremely intelligent, and often surprises people with this because of her general immature attitude. She's always fighting to be seen as an adult but never acts like one. She likes to act out to gain attention, and she's got a lust for drama and shock – one of the reasons she looks like she does. She's not very dependable or trustworthy but she makes a good friend because she'll literally do anything for someone when she trusts them. She loves singing and being in a band, which she started as an outlet for her teenage frustrations.

Finley is the type of guy who can't sit still, even for a few minutes at a time. He's got an amazing amount of energy packed into his body, and he's often found running around and getting in trouble. He has a penchant for bright colours – especially when it comes to his hair – and cracking jokes. He likes being immature, although he can be deadly serious at times. Surprisingly, he's very empathetic and friendly, and his immaturity is mostly an act... although he does sometimes miss the seriousness of the moment and can be insensitive. He sees Cameron and Alex as an extension of his own (admittedly rather large) family and as additions to his five siblings, having known both of them since he was a baby.

Born John Reginald Avery, he changed his name to 'Red' when he turned sixteen, claiming that his birth name wasn't interesting enough. Now twenty, Red is the bass guitarist for SAYF and Alex's longtime close friend. He doesn't like attention too much and can act shy, but he's also a perfectionist and wants to be aleader, so don't expect him to always stay quiet. He likes to paint a mysterious look to newcomers, but when he's with friends he lightens up considerably. He's got a good ear for music and can play most songs first time by ear. He's straight-edge, and steers away from drugs, alcohol and is also a vegetarian (Alex often teases him for this, declaring it boring and stuffy.)

Jack fancies himself as a ladykiller, and he actually is quite a hit with most girls. He has a confidence about him which makes people like him, even if he can act cocky at times. He often makes lewd remarks, which Cameron considers him uncouth for. She dislikes him for this – despite the fact that they had a brief relationship when she was younger – but he's an exceptionally talented drummer, which is how he got into the band in the first place (that, and he could drive... okay, mostly because he could drive). He doesn't like being overly sensitive, preferring to act more manly instead, which means when he does act nice he's actually genuine. He's also very charming and charismatic.

As the only female in Hello, Irony, Liza takes on the role as the band's 'mother', keeping them all together and making sure everything runs smoothly. Before they hit the big time, Liza had dreams of becoming an artist – but for now she's happy as the lead singer of a world-famous alternative rock band. She's known for her bright orange-yellow-red hair – and has claimed on more than one occasion that Hayley Williams stole her look – and her general good cheer. She's a close friend of Gerard, although she grew up in England and moved to America on her eighteenth birthday. It was then that she met her future bandmate and fiance, Davey, who was looking for a female singer for his band, and everything fell into place from there.

In his younger years, and during the early eras of Hello, Irony, Davey went by the moniker of Boxer, given to him because of his apparent resemblance to the breed of dog. He's a calm, honest individual, often claimed to be the dependable one in Hello, Irony, and is known for his steady attitude. He's engaged to Liza, but this is kept a closely-guarded secret from the majority of the world, and it really is around her that he shows his best side. He grew up in New Jersey a few streets away from Gerard and they're close friends due to this, but barely see each other due to intense tour schedules.

Zacky is the fun-loving guitarist for Hello, Irony. He joined the band after he met Davey at a local gig in a grimy dive bar, they became friends, and Davey mentioned that his band was lacking a vocalist and guitarist. Later, when Liza joined, Zacky gave up his position as lead singer to be just the guitarist. He's openly bisexual and claims to be '75% gay, 25% straight' – but stays close lipped about his personal life, especially in interviews. He's known for being the most childish of the band and for his battles with alcohol, and how he's been a casual user of drugs in the past.

Janey, a five foot nothing purple-haired, tattooed, chain-smoking 24-year-old music journalist, is Cameron's closest friend. They met at work two years back – when Cam walked in on Janey yelling at a guy for doing something wrong – and have been inseperable since that fateful day. Janey is extremely confident and has a very sharp tongue, which is bad for the people who get on the wrong side of her. She never takes things seriously and has been known to get on people's nerves with her amazing talent to say all the wrong things at all the wrong moments.

Ellie is the tanned, dark-haired singer of Antagonism Enmity, the band which SAYF shares a tour bus with on the Whiteout festival tour. Although more reserved than some lead singers, she is confident in her place and her talent, and she puts on a damn good show for the fans. She is a sensitive soul, however. She doesn't drink or eat meat, but that's mostly because she doesn't really find fun in either activity.
