Simon is the main character of my story, Why Don't I Like Girls Anymore? and is a sixteen year old boy living in Cornwall. Simon's life seems pretty normal (well, as normal as life can get for a social outcast) until his friend Julian changes his way of thinking dramatically. The story follows how Simon copes with his new views on sexuality and life in general through the form of his diary, which he writes in meticulously. Physique description: Black, naturally straight hair, that is often messy (although he keeps it clean haha) and can reach to over his eyes if he forgets to get it cut. (He's a nightmare at the hairdressers) His eyes are green and Simon finds them too piercing (although to an outsider they are supposed to look striking and attractive in colour.) He is very tall and because he isn't muscly and quite thin he thinks he looks 'gangly' (although this is just one of his many loathings about the way he looks) He has pale skin, which is clear seeming as he never had acne. He has a long, straight nose and thin, pink lips (no, he doesn't wear lipstick >,>) Things to note: Simon is very self conscious and that is why he always puts himself down and says he looks bad in his diary. Like Clara once said, he's actually quite handsome! (In my head, anyway) Simon is also very emotional, and feels things strongly. Hence why he cries more than the average person. Simon won't at first admit to his own sexuality because of this same self consciousness. Simon just isn't comfortable with who he is (and I don't know many people who truly are)

Julian Somen

Julian is one of the characters in WDILGA. Julian is gay and has come to terms with this before the start of the story, but he is irrevocably in love with one of his best male friends. Julian is normally confident and outspoken, but when dealing with this one special person he is tentative and careful because he does not want to give his feelings away. After a misunderstanding he finally shows his feelings but their friendship is nearly jeopardised. Julian will do anything to get this one person back. Physique description: Julian has shoulder length honey brown hair and blue eyes that are cloudy and make him look like he is constantly day dreaming. (I think the appropriate fangirl word is dreamy here) He is very tall, but quite muscular (not overly so) so he doesn't look as tall as he is. (if that makes any sense) He is quite tanned, which makes his blue eyes stand out even more. He has quite full lips that make him look stunning when he smiles. (Thank goodness he's usually a smiley person then!) Notes on Julian: When he's bored or nervous, he has certain fidgety habits that give this away, like drumming his fingers, tapping his feet, running his hands through his long hair or biting his lip constantly.

Clara Clayfield

Clara is the third best friend in a trio with Simon and Julian. She is very intelligent but does not let this go to her head and is very down to earth. She also has a few other friends, all girls, and they all share a love of Manga and Anime. Clara wants to be a manga artist when she's older and excels in art and creative writing. She is very caring, particularly towards her friend Simon, who often needs help with anything from homework to personal problems. Clara likes to be there for her friends, friendship being the most important thing in the world to her. She is also very shy with the outside world, only truly comfortable with her parents (she is an only child) and friends. Physique description: She has long, honey coloured hair in loose waves (but not frizzy) Her skin is pale and the bridge of her nose is decorated with freckles. Her eyes are a grass green colour and look wise because of her intelligence. She wears glasses, but stylish square framed ones. She isn't short, but looks it compared to her two tall friends Julian and Simon. She isn't fat, but curvy in the right places. That's it for now. More when I feel like it XD
