As the main fighter and detective of New Orleans' SCU (Supernatural Crime Unit), Diana works very hard in keeping his grandfather's (and family's) legacy in keeping both the citizens and supernatural beings in peace between each other, along with preventing any situations of oncoming civil war or specific hate crimes. Her mother was a witch that was raped brutally by a demon that supposedly was one of Lucifer's banished outcasts, the Dark 7 (Seven Deadly Sins), and in result came Diana's birth with a developed demonic trait related to succubi that is a dangerous mix in her witch blood. Diana faces not only social and supernatural problems, but also personal problems regarding family acceptance because of who she is and the relationships between her many sexual partners with Shadows being one of them.

Shadows

Also known by his human name Matthew Charles Sanders, Shadows is ruthless but protective individual of the Werebat family, which is a type of supernatural creature where the person is half-bat/half-man with the morphing that can be tamed when done properly but the ferocity and bloodlust this type of creature has is a force to be reckoned with. Shadows is a long time best friend of Diana who tries for the right time to be officially with her as her lover but problems arise when a high school friend of hers gets in the way and dangerous situations threaten her life. He grew up in a abusive home with his divorced alcoholic mother before finally joining his father to become a part of the Werebat family codenamed the Deathbats.

Charlie Pierce

When Diana was in high school, Charlie suddenly disappeared around Junior year with no trace to where he ran off too. Now in the present of this story, he finally returns but not as the same man Diana remembered him by. Charlie always had a deep devoted attraction for Diana, which is interfered with Shadows wanting to win over her heart, and that love for her was almost official in high school until he left because of an extreme life-changing situation that becomes an entirely new level of friendship between Diana and him. Apparently Shadows isn't the only supernatural being that wants to embrace Diana's heart.

Marshall Carter

Ever since his sister (Diana's mother) was raped by a dark demon and died of a mysterious illness, Marshall vowed to protect her pure Witch bloodline and keep Diana safe at all costs from suffering the same or similar fate like her mother's. Being the sheriff of New Orleans, Marshall tends to get strict with Diana at times and becomes very guarded to some of her "friends", but his father-like love for Diana reveals how there are those in her family that love her for who she is, not hate her for the curse she was born with by force.

Master Manson/Pale Emperor

Being hundreds of years old and strong with dark lust of many experimental desires that attracted even the most daring of humans, Manson (known as "Master" or nicknamed "Pale Emperor") has ruled the underground vampire world in New Orleans for over a century while also keeping the killings at minimal but the blood supply at best. His parties, antics, and dark obscene culture has attracted many vampires in the nation and attracted many humans who dared to "tour" the scene and engage acts that have led to many deaths that cops know not to even mess with considering how dangerous Manson can be. Manson is an occasional partner with the beautiful Diana and always had strong lust (mainly fantasy) in wanting her to become his prime ruthless Countess.

Maddox Hunter

When Diana faces problems between Shadows and Charlie, Maddox reveals himself in Diana's life as someone of comfort and escape from personal stress. Maddox is rather mysterious in his ways to Diana but in a way, he drags her away from the supernatural drama and gives her a chance to be more human than she ever was for so long because of her job title. Friendship is a strong trait between Maddox and Diana, but the friendship might be taken to a whole new level in the future.

Amara Rose

As the best friend to Diana and a good professional worker in supernatural knowledge for the SCU, Amara shows great charisma and brings out the more humorous memories in Diana's life to diminish the stressors of both her best friend's work and sexual relationships. Amara was the one true friend that accepted Diana for who she was and was with her since the beginning of it all, even all the way back to where Diana first started the SCU field that interested Amara greatly, considering she had no other interest in a career after high school. Amara may be human but she has her way of kicking ass both physically and intelligently. She also has a long-time "crush" on Diana and dreamt of loving her more than just a friend.

Ida Mellette

After Diana's mother passed away and the girl suffered being accepted into her own family for the curse she was born with, Ida became a mother figure to Diana and taught her ways of control over the demonic side of her that developed more into succubus traits once puberty hit. Ida and her bloodline of voodoo spirituality accepted Diana's family and her generation of Witch bloodline after her grandfather, Darrell Winters, saved Ida's past family in the 1960s from a fire that was caused by a hateful arsonist. The SCU is actually built within a voodoo shop to keep it spiritually protected and to nurse those who have suffered "battle wounds" from deadly supernatural encounters.
