    Wow Nina!

    That was amazing!

I like how you described Christmas as always getting on Darran's nerves, and then you jump straight in with Matt nagging about Darran coming up to his for Christmas.

I love how all his friends see him as a humbug at Christmas, when all he really wants is some peace and quiet away from these disastrous people that Matt has set him up with.

The description of the first girl was rather amusing :tehe: about how she only opened up about her turtles when Ryan had asked her :lmfao

The second girl, wow, I saw a couple of people like her when I went to see FFAF :tehe: When I met Gavin, somebody called him Gareth (Gavin is Gareth's replacement) and he looked proper miffed!

It's really sad how Darran's the only single one left, and everybody else has wives and children. It's really sad and you can feel his apprehension about going, just to meet somebody who will annoy him and not be the right person for him.

It was really sweet how you introduced Darran to Nat, how he really doesn't care any more and is lost in his own little humbuggy world.

The ending was proper sweet too. Darran couldn't help but think that this year Matt had gotten the date set up, one hundred percent right, for the very first time. Aww!

Thank you for this, Nina. It's a wonderful present! :arms:
