I'm quite annoyed how this story lacks any other comments, though. Hmph.
It was pretty good. Well described, original idea. Although it was kind of melodramatic. I know he was burned and all and not in good condition, but the words he said didn't sound like something someone would say. Like the whole, "Fire never really dies," or whatever the dialogue had been (too lazy to go and check), it didn't sound like something someone would say. It sounded like something someone would write.
It was very good, but the dialogue, to me, was a little iffy.
