This was really amazing, and I'm a sucker for Bryero.
This was my favorite part, of course: I’ve learned many things this past year, yet the biggest thing I have ever learned in my entire lifetime and this year, was how to love; and these lips pressed against mine, and the ring pressing into my finger signifying me as a union, a Bryero, is only proof of that. That was really amazing and gave the impression that before he had always been alone, maybe a bit of a tough guy.
I also really liked the countdown in between each memory.
My favorite of the memories was when he thought about his mother's death. Two-thousand-eight started with a funeral. It made me think that he thought it was going to be a horrible year, but it turned out alright. Realistic.
A lot of people write things like these and they only focus on one end of the spectrum: all the memories are either really depressing or they're all really happy, which, I don't know about you but I can't look back on one year in my life and only remember good things, and I can't look back and only remember the bad.

So yeah... I loved this. :D
