This was so good, I felt kind of sad when it ended.
I know it’s just a one-shot and all that jazz, but the way it was written, so simple and real, and the flow of events throughout the story just made it all very special to me. At some point, I even felt identified with these two strangers that just ran away and kept going, not caring about an exact destination, just living.

The feeling of just wanting to get away from everything was always present and I loved that. Because sometimes you need that, to disappear and become unattached of things that hold you back from whatever it is you are looking for, but you know you’re not gonna find it if you’re still in the same place. And so they did that, they took off, sealing their relationship with unspoken words. I found it endearing how they phrased it anyway, during that walk in the beach, the whole scenario making it even better.

The ending was great, because it leaves you wondering about them. About what happens later; I mean, do they keep going? Do they ever settle down? It’s simply amazing how their fate can suddenly be shaped by the reader. Those endings are the best.
I think you mentioned that you hadn’t written anything in a while but to tell you the truth, this was something quite spectacular to read. No exaggeration. Once in a while, this is the kind of style anyone needs, just so fucking good and refreshing.

Sorry if the comment dragged out so much. My bad. :shifty

Psh, now I know I don’t stand a chance against you, really.
