God, words have stopped showing how much I adore this story so far. May I tell you, I've read I Am Legend, and while it was pretty good, I already like this better. It has a lot more emotion, it's just... more, you know? I can tell I'm going to find so much about everyone. I'm just so excited to get to know the characters.

And I really do like the main character's name. :tehe: Awesome pick there, I've rarely seen it anywhere. And I don't think I've seen that spelling, either. From what I can tell so far, it seems to fit her quite snugly as well.

Joe is so cute, just his whole character is like... gorgeous, in an all-over kind of way. The way he talk and acts makes me love him, and I find it quite sad that he died before he could feature in a non-italic area of the story. >.> But at least we get to see him back when things were normal. Just, yeah, seriously, he makes me smile.

I like this conflict that's going on already, and you can already see hints of these other people's lives -- who we haven't even really met yet -- coming out in careful doses once again. My face kinda went like "D:" when they said she was infected, but as long as not all hope is lost yet, then I am good. Just... yeah, that would really suck to find out like that.

This disease is so intriguing, the way it seems to spring out of nowhere. It's like it's purposefully trying to be as devastating as possible.

This comment really does not do the story justice at all. >.> I can't wait to read more of it. -fidgets impatiently-

I love this so much, you know. I'm sure i've said that before, hehe, but it's true.

It's so intricate, and detailed. I agree with Seraphim - it's almost as though two stories are running at the same time, but they're so different. One's so unbelievably optimistic and hopeful, and just...happy, while the other, it makes you feel that there's not much hope left for any of them, you know? It contrasts, which only makes her current situation more tragic. It was like, she had it all, and then, in a matter of months, years, whatever, she lost everything that meant anything to her.
Just, whoa. I wish I could write stories like this.
And it's only the fourth chapter, hehe.
    More soon? xD

Oh, gosh. :tehe: Did I mention I'm excited for this? Because I am SO unbelievably excited for this. It just turns out I'm really horrible at checking my subscriptions or something, and I feel bad, but never fear, I'm here to comment this to hell and back.

You see, every single word of this story is completely captivating. I couldn't stop reading until I'd taken in every part of these two chapters. Perhaps there's not a whole lot of 'action' yet, but action isn't what stories is about. This shows the narrators voice, the way she thinks, and very carefully releases information about what's going on.

I think the italicised sections really contrast with the rest of the story at the moment, because they're such different situations. The whole 'before' and 'after' thing seems very defined because of these. It's nice to see a memory or two -- I can't wait to see what life she used to lead. :tehe: It's like there's two stories going on at the same time.

The whole thing is extremely intriguing, especially the names you used -- 'Blanks' and 'Invaders'. I think that's creative, I really want to know more about them though. I like the clues you've given so far, like with the sunlight thing.

Predictably, I show up right before we find out who these people she met are. :grr: Now I need to wait for the next chapter! I can tell it's totally gonna be worth the wait though.

Gosh, I love this story so much already despite there only being three parts so far. It has so much potential, I can't wait for more.

MORE!! Seriously, I'm loving this right now. It's so different from anything I've ever read - but in a good way, of course. I can't wait to read how everything unravels over time.

Honestly, I think that if you really give this a chance, it'll be popular. I love it, and so will everyone else.

Oh my gosh, I'm really excited for this story now. You weave it so well. I'm...intrigued, I think that's the best word. I'm already attached to the characters! That usually doesn't happen for a while.
    More soon, please!!

You know when you read the first page of a book, and you just think, hot damn, I am gonna love this!

... Well, I don't usually think, "hot damn," but it goes pretty well with what I want to say here.

Because I totally get that feeling with this story. I can tell this is going to turn into something awesome, amazing, fantastic. And frankly, I can't wait to keep reading it. The words just all fitted together so well to paint a picture that's vague and concise at the same time. Granted, I don't know anything about the characters yet, I still saw something in my head that made me smile and frown at the same time. (Well, you know, the subject seems so sad.)

I'm so happy for this project. :tehe: I'm sad that the Mess is over, but I think this is gonna be a mighty fine replacement, and I'm gonna enjoy it 'til the very end. I have a VERY good feeling about this, seriously.

Gosh, now I've gotten myself all psyched up! I can't wait to read more. Now I have to wait. :grr:
