“Whatever kind of guy I am, I guess.” Gerard said dully, disappointed at the lack of contact. Frank seemed to sense this newfound sullenness, because he flounced down to sit on Gerard’s lap, wrapping his arms around his neck and leaning backward with his feet in the air.

“So. The kind of sad motherfucker who boycotts light colors and happiness?” Gerard looked down at his black shirt and black jeans and black socks and kind of had to agree.

Meanwhile, Frank’s breath had started to tickle Gerard’s chin, and in a matter of seconds his lack of birthday spirit was the farthest thing from his mind.

“You aren’t planning to fucking like… jump out at me or any shit like that? This is planned? In broad daylight?” He looked at Mikey suspiciously, searching for all the signs of lying he knew Mikey would show if that was in fact what they had planned.

Wow, this was great.

I just loved the general feel throughout the whole thing and the attitude Gerard has towards his birthday. The whole thing just has this really fucked up sort of sense of humor throughout it.

I liked the time elapses :think: I know that's a seriously weird thing to pick out of a story but I think they were done really well, somehow. I could imagine the scene fading out and going in again.

The start really grabbed me, I loved the description of Gerard just lying there breathing. It was so simple and so effective. And the ending made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :arms:

The dildo/ hairbrush was a nice little thing too :tehe:

I really got the impression from this that that's exactly how the guys are like. It felt really real to me. I'm glad I read this, it's really affected me somehow.
