Oh no, Patrick! But a new producer might be just what they need. Never know. And why's she letting it get to her? Music is supposed to be about fun and love and dedication and joy, not frustration. =/
And yay, Michael's home! I think he's too perfect. It's not fair that he doesn't get to be worried or upset because he's always holding up for her.
It's cute that Seb's still nervous even though they've known each other for so long. And the way they just left before Chizzy could get his mind around it. =]

Thank. You. So. Much. for finally getting them back to eachother. They were being stupid, and Carden deserve so much better than that. Boo on them for making the Elliot cry, but I think they needed to get the yelling out, with the secrets.
Excellent chapter, confrontation scenes are so hard to write.

Oh, good best friend. And yay Nicola. I love her. :) With Seb, really? That's cute, and kind of funny. I like how Michael's protective but trying not to be. Studio time, soon? And hella sorry to hear about the laptop/flashdrive situation.

Cute chapter, kind of filler-ish but I et the feel it's an important filler. =] Let's hear it for Suzie&Mike

Rough times suck. They obviously needed to get together every now and then to practice, even if it was just Suzie coming over to play with Rae. Or something. Like, start from the first of their songs and just move through the catalog. Yay for Nicola re-entering the story soon! And here's hoping Suzie gets over herself and whatever bitchfit rut she's in now. =]

Ch32:
Yay for getting back to music, the band really needs it. And moving to LA is a good solution, I guess. Esp if Nicola will be there to help out. Let's see what drama the LA scene will reveal...

Ch31:
Oh, poor Mike. He really doesn't get her, or the whole issue, does he? And then his band mates get to pick up the pieces. And Suzie's rep is gonna go to hell courtesy of pissed fangirls. Eesh, celebrity relationships are tough-looking. And Mike, with the 'halfway across the country is enough fxckin space'... I feel so bad for him.

Ch30:
Oh no, I totally saw that coming but didn't want it to happen. Mean Suzie, bad! You don't play with boys and then break them, it's not cool!
Thank you for getting me so involved. I feel like I know your characters so well!

Ch29:
Thank goodness for days off, but it's ok. Writer's bock is infamous, Rae. It happens, and you can balance both! I bet a change of view, just being in the studio with melodies would help the writing flow. It's sweet how Michael is so ready to drop everything for his family, and I appreciate how realistically awkward the engagement conversation was. =] Can't imagine Suzie with a ring, either.

Ch28:
Aw, there are good record studios in Chicago! Why can't they go to recording for a few hours a day? There's a lot of sitting around as is, so it's not like Elliot can't come with while the career situation is balanced. =/ I feel so bad for Rae getting overwhelmed, she can do it! And poor Michael, everyone's just bursting in to tears around him, ha.

Ch27:
First off, kudos for writing non-awkward beginnings to sex scenes. It' hard to do that transition smoothly.
So cute on the separation anxiety, and why can't Mike see that Suzie seriously doesn't want kids? She can't take screaming Eliot. It's simple.
The girl nearly threw up in the delivery room, for goodness' sake!

Ch26:
Oh, Suzie and her cop outs. Touchy touchy. I'm rooting for them but losing hope.
Ha, who's accent WILL he have? "Why don't you stop crying?" LOL, cause babies cry, obviously.
Yay for Seb & Jude making a re-appearance. Too bad on the rain-check, I think they needed it. Also, what's up with everyone crowding new parents and babies? Don't people realize they're exhausted and need bonding time, minus a bajillion people around them?
Good chapter. I think it's one of your better updates.

Ch25:
Oh no, he missed it! And Suzie does need to soften the hell up, even though her thoughts on the birth were really funny. Mini Carden, haha. Poor Chizzy, he's got to feel so guilty. And I can't wait for it to sink in that they're parents. That's huge.
BTW, I'm loving the EP and Fast Times... Also am bummed I didn't get to go to the Almost Here show in the city.

Ch24:
BABY! Oh goodness, why must it happen when Michael's not there? This is such a recipe for huge breaks-in-to-room at last minute or post-partum depression. And Chizzy's gonna freak out and feel all guilty. =/
Hah, Suzie's so cute. "You had to have the baby today?!"

Ch23:
And there went my hope of things working. =/ She's so going to leave him, if he doesn't first. No good, no good.
It's funny how mood-swingy Rae is. And realistic, thank goodness for writers who don't go too over-the-top on things like this. (Thank you!) You're right, how gross are some of the pregnancy words to sound out? Actually, the same's true of human scientific body words in general. I mean, clavicle? Saliva? Out of context, they're not pretty words. Also, yay for the baby kicking. =]
